Reading, cooking, watching sports - particularly the Colts and the Cardinals. Lately a new hobby is going to auctions. When I lived in Indy I loved going to concerts - saw a lot of great ones - Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Harry Connick Jr., Sting/Annie Lennox, Cher/Cyndi Lauper, Bon Jovi x6, DMB x2, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Miller Band, Santana, Rod Stewart, Mellencamp & more. I'd pretty much go see anyone. Now that I live where it takes a little more planning, it would have to be someone really great to fight to get tickets and make the travel plans. Here's one of my favorite Bon Jovi performances - I saw this one live, in person from the 15th row on the floor of Giants Stadium. Amazing.
Music
I am a self-confessed Bon Jovi nut - have traveled many miles to see them live and always will. Bad Company, Billy Joel, Springsteen, The Killers, Sheryl Crow, Jack Johnson, Prince, Clapton, The Eagles, Heart, John Hiatt, John Mayer, Joss Stone, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews, Bob Seger, Keith Urban, Def Leppard, Heart, Journey ... I'll really listen to just about anything!
Movies
Sex and the City, Beautiful Girls, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, You've Got Mail, The Godfather Trilogy, Star Wars movies, Cop Land, Practical Magic, Johnny Dangerously, Dodgeball, Billy Madison, Office Space, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. I love chick flicks but make no mistake, I often have the same sense of humor as a 9 year old boy!
Television
I'm completely addicted to Lost and all the hype surrounding it. Its just a great show! Also love Samantha Who, The Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Family Guy, Ninja Warrior, Ghost Hunters, South Park, The Office, Jon & Kate plus 8, and the show on Discovery Channel about how things are made.

Books
Favorite authors are Jennifer Weiner, Jenny Crusie and Nicholas Sparks. Currently, making my way through the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson and the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovitch.
Heroes
Richie Sambora. My friend Leslie for being so level-headed and stable and for coming to my rescue after my apartment fire. My parents for being the best support system in the world. I'm really a lucky gal!
About me: Graduated from IU and left my small town to go chase my dreams in the city. Never quite caught them so I decided it was time to find new dreams back in my small town. Closer to family but further away from friends. It is rough sometimes but my life has more balance now than it has had in years. I caught one dream when I became a homeowner and its kept me pretty busy. I thank my lucky stars every day for my parents and family making my new home into a beautiful and cozy haven in a crazy world. Still chasing the next dream of finding the right guy and settling into the next phase of my life. :)
I love to laugh and try not to take life so seriously, although I do fall into serious mode every so often. I think I'm pretty quick-witted and tend to be pretty sarcastic.
This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!
Who I'd like to meet: I'm here to connect with family and friends, old and new. I'm a single girl who is definitely looking for the right guy. I recently described "him" to a friend as a mechanically-inclined nerd! I'm a nerd at heart and would like to find a kindred spirit. :)
THREE PLACES ON THURSDAY, ETHAN'S TWO GRANDPARENTS, MY GRANDPARENTS THAT EVENING. CRAZY I KNOW. GOOD OT HEAR THAT EVERYONE WILL BE HOME. JUDY WAS TO EMAIL EVERYONE AND LET THEM KNOW, BUT I AM PLANNING ON HAVING THE HEIPLE/GRAFF CHRISTMAS AS MY HOUSE FRIDAY EVENING. THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE EASIER THAN TRYING TO GET EVERYONE TOGETHER AROUND CHRISTMAS. I JUSTED TALKED WITH HER YESTERDAY, SHE SAID SHE WOULD EMAIL WITH DETAILS.
IT WAS FREEZING, IT RAINED AND SNOWED THE ENTIRE GAME. WE DID MAKE IT HOME SAFELY. THERE WAS A GOOD INCH OF SNOW IN THE GROUND WHEN WE LEFT SUNDAY MORNING. YOU COMING HOME FOR THANKSGIVING?
WE ARE HEADING TO ANN ARBOR TO A MICHIGAN FOOTBALL GAME. YOU VISITING OR BUSINESS? WE WON'T GET THERE UNTIL REAL LATE TONIGHT AND STAYING UNTIL SUNDAY.
I never thought about the "trail mix dilemma", probably because I like raisins, but you're the second person THIS AFTERNOON that I've heard this from! BTW, Palin's coming to Verizon Wireless on Friday, which is about 3 miles from my house. I've already ordered your tickets.
OMG, is it wrong that I hope she either cries or gets laughed at by Biden? Every time I think, I can't dislike this woman any more than I do, I learn something new. This week, "what newspapers and magazines do you read?" "all of them!" I think "Cosmo" would have sounded less ditzy.
Oh, it was quite tragic when I thought it was gone-- I really, really thought I had lost it. As much as I want one of the new nanos, I don't want to have to buy one! My organizational skills have not improved over time.
She should get slaughtered on the campaign trail-- there's no way that she's going to be able to handle anything past "tell us about drilling for oil". I can't imagine conservative men are going to like her or conservative women are going to like that she's doing this instead of taking care of her infant.
