Sandra Katherine Yarbrough - my 23 year old niece. Despite countless obstacles and put downs from the time she was born, she has persevered and proven that she IS better than she has been told and that she IS going to make something of herself. Well, she has! She graduated from LSU In May 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing.
Everyone calls me Becca so I guess that's who I am. I am 32 years old and married to the greatest guy in the world, Tracy Jackson. We have two kids, Josh (12) & Jamee (4 1/2). We live in Summit, MS, which is just a little north of McComb. Tracy drives a truck for McLanes Southern Distribution and I am the office manager for my dad's lumber company, Sharp Cypress, Inc. Our life is pretty typical. We stay on-the-go, but we are happy and that's what matters most.

rainy died today. it was so sad. her kidneys started shutting down & she swelled up to twice her normal size. i took her this morning and had her put to sleep. i cried the whole way there. i pet her little swollen face and sang to her on our way.(she prolly was ready to be put to sleep when we got there having to listen to me sing--lol). she looked up at me with those sad eyes on the way there. it just broke my heart. poor little rainy. we miss her already. we had her a little funeral. she was suffering. she looked horrible. i figured she was about 14. was she? grannie stood over rainy last night crying and hand feeding her tiny pieces of ham and giving her sips of water. she couldn't get up herself anymore. it broke my heart listening to grannie in there talking to her. she would say hey little rainy, your tooth swollen, is that why your face is so big little girl. this is your last meal ray ray. i love ya. i hated seeing rainy look like that. anyway, i just wanted to let you know. msg me your cell phone number. my old cell got salt water in it and tore up. i can't get any of my old numbers off of it. let me know how you are doing. love ya...

I just registered as a bone marrow donor with DKMS to potentially help save someone's life. I'm asking you to consider signing up as a donor as well. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will join me in support. We can help make a difference. Please put yourself in these patients or family members situation. Don't be afraid to help others. I was scared at 1st to, but if I can save a child, a mother, a father, etc then I have to do this.
