I love watching movies. dancing my ass off into the wee hours of the morning. sitting on the floor and laughing like a mad man (even though in actuality, I am a mad women. HA). cartwheels. fan kicks. Kick it baby, all the way into left field. don't think, just do and move. Thundersneak, kickball, and majong. sleeping is good too.

my brain is a big pile of mush just sitting there inside my head. . . soon it will solidify again and I will be able to have a coherent thought. in the meantime I think that the only thing I can do is dance. or run around a park in the dark. or stand on my head and wait for the world to turn around and join me so I won't be upside down anymore.

On June sixth, over twenty Denver musical acts swap songs at the all night auditory orgy called Denver Does Denver. Played on three stages between Bar Bar and Old Curtis St (2100 Curtis st.), these two neighboring venues serve as the sets for promiscuity in sound. Each band abandons their original material to play a set covering another Denver band. The expansive lineup includes a wide assortment of Denver's most adventurous artists, from singer songwriters to electronic composers, hip hop crews to blues crooners, improvisational avante gardists to old time country troops. Witness a massive intersection of local on local sound at Denver Does Denver.

Barrington Levy with Pee Hawks and OdAm fEl mUd
The Oriental Theater Friday, Dec 14, 2007 8:00pm All Ages
Hailing from Jamaica, international reggae star Barrington Levy has sat at the top of dancehall charts worldwide since he was 14. Called reggae's 'Mellow Canary' by virtue of his strong, pure vocal style, he's renowned as the first original singer of the dancehall era.
Also, Pee Hawks-- the love child of bands Pink Hawks and Pee Pee-- will be performing an all-improvisational set as a 12+ member symphonic movement of folky electronic psychedelia.
Additional blood thirsty performance by the neo-kabuki samurai performance group OdAm fEI mUd.
Feel free to come as your own piece of performance art or simply be injected with the cocktail of 'crazyfuntime'.
The Oriental Theater, 4335 West 44th Ave (44th and Tennyson) Denver, CO 80212 303-455-2124
