After studied in a Art School, he is teaching since 1975, Visual Arts and Crafts Education, in a Lisbon Statement Official School. Have been participating in concerts and festivals in Portugal and abroad, namely: duo with Carlos Zingaro in Moscow, and in the Inter. Macau New Music Festival; played in the " Global Jungle Orquestra " with, Hamid Drake, John Stublefield, Grahm Haynes. After 1997, he began finally to released music CDs: the flute solo record " flute landscapes " deeply acclaimed by the critic, and did mostly duo CDs and concerts, with Peter Kowald, Alex von Schlippenbach, Michel Edelin, Derek Bailey , Reuben Radding, William Parker, Joelle Leandre, Barry Guy. Have played in trio with, André Goudbeek / Peter Jacquemyn; Fred van Hove/Gunter Sommer; Phil Minton/Han Bennink, André Goudbeek / Peter Jacquemyn, Carlos Santos / Etienne Rolin. Some information..s ABOUT his CDs: His first CD came out later in 1997 on Leo Records Laboratory - 032. Split between his trio project - IK*Zs (3) and solo performances, The 1998 " Flute Landscapes " on audEo - 0298 " showed all the extent of his talent in a series of short solo improvisations focusing on specific techniques and effects-a glossary of the modern flute "- François Couture, All Music Guide . By Numérica label, he released " Right Off ", a flute and electronics duo, with Derek Bailey.
