About me:

I am a pretty eclectic gal who is also pretty blessed. I have the best group of friends a person could ask for and also have the most wonderful man in my life who fills my heart with joy every single day and he has a wonderful daughter whom I adore as well. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of North Texas School of Visual Arts in Ceramics, although I do all sorts of art, from painting to ceramics and everything in between. I love to read, mostly fiction, especialy historic fiction. I am not currently making my living with my art, although I hope to be able to do that someday (isn't that the dream of all artists?!) I do, however, work for a great company that takes really great care of their employees that has totally earned my loyalty, and still have my art on the side. Animals are one of my great passions, and while I lost one of my great loves, my precious dog of alomst 16 years Thanksgiving of '06, I still have three fabulous cats whom I adore and who make me laugh each and every day. I have recently been blessed to have another dog come into my life who has been called a miracle dog by many. One of my dear friends rescued her from the side of the road and she has gone on to survive heart worms and to unexpectidly deliver a litter of six healthy puppies! I try to keep picutes of all of my special animal friends on my page here and add updates as I can. I love nature, especially the mountians and my dream is to someday combine my love of nature, art, and animals and to live in Colorado in a little compound, surrounded by those I love with lots of animals and make art for a living.... now THAT would be pardise! I also sing with a couple of groups including an acappella group called The Stonhenj Players that performs at Renaissance Faires (which are another HUGE part of my life!). We also do weapons and fighing demonstrations and do a lot of educational events, mainly with kids, teaching them about the Renaissance/Middle Ages and Weapons safety. I have volunteered for NTIF for nine years, but to actually be on stage there was really cool! I have a very busy, very full life that never stays stagnant and look forward to seeing what comes next!
