"What can I say? I love to create music," says musician Chris Beckham. Chris is an up and coming solo artist with influences ranging from Mae to Skillet.

Talking about how he got started playing his own music Chris says, "Really it began with my passion for music combined with my independent spirit." Although Chris enjoys jam sessions with other musicians, when it comes to writing his music and performing he likes to keep it solo. "I feel like the music that I play is an expression of who I am and what I believe, it's an intimate thing for me."
