Lol yea any talk of music let alone guitars gets me excited. But your completely write about making sure you find the write guitar it has to be just perfect for you. Its amazing that although electric guitars are fundamentally built the same they all have their own amazing individual sounds. All I no is you can never go wrong with a strat or just a fender at all. Well I really hope you get one. Its good to broaden your horizons and also get a grasp on a different way of playing. Their is nothing like bending strings or enjoying the pentatonic scale on a electric its just an amazing feeling and sound. I no you will love it. And then you will get to the point where although the acoustic will always be held dear you can't wait to pick up the electric and let it scream.well
