I went to Cambridge, NY to see my family Father's Day weekend, 2006. My Uncle Jay owns a 58 acre farm there. Its all rolling hills and mountains everywhere you look. Its very beautiful. Im a city girl. Theres no question about that. My family jokes about it all the time, knowing I dont particularly like farms (thats an understatement)....but this time I borrowed a friends camera and decided to walk the gounds for a couple of hours, finding myself ankle deep in "stuff" I would NEVER think I would EVER be standing in, or just be in the vacinity of, for that matter, for ANY reason! I discovered things I never saw before, or refused to see. I didnt set any of these pictures up. Everything you see is exactly how I found it. In its own beauty. I found more photo opportunities than I had expected to find. Im not a photographer. This was the first time I actually did this and I enjoyed it so much! I think it may become a new hobbie for me. I found myself facinated by the old barn doorways and windows.(Im sure I have way too many pictures of them). Any of you that look at these pictures, that may know anything about photography, please feel free to leave me comments on how to make the pictures better. This is all new to me and I would love ANY constructive criticism you can give me.
