‘Both intimate and dramatic, with a voice of true range, power and passion, Becky Syson was one of the word-of-mouth hits of the festival. Evoking the spirits of both Carina Round and Julianne Regan, she steps well beyond Folk Rock into far more fascinating terrain. Deeply impressive.’
Dominic Wills, Burnham-On-Sea FolkFest.
'Her lyrics, especially those of H.O.L.L.A.N.D, spoke straight to the heart, and tugged at the soul. A highly talented song smith, Becky is a true star and has a bright future'

'This is an album of great maturity and yet it's Syson's debut cut. The lyrics, music and harmonies combine to produce an album of real character. The title track's the most personal track on the album. It's not a country it's a message, decode it and believe.'
