vernacular monkey	Mar 17 2009 1:06 PM I woke this morning from a horror dream where a babysitter was watching these twins in the house I grew up in. The mother came home and slaughtered the kids and shot the babysitter. The babysitter ran upstairs. She found a gun. I was the babysitter. I reverted back to a 13 year old. I waited near the top of the stairs and when I heard footsteps, I stepped onto the landing and shot one of the mother's henchmen. He died but kept walking down the stairs complaining of his wounds. Blood was everywhere. From the south end of the house the boy was thrown in front of the doorway. The girl was tossed onto the stairs from the north. I retreated into the closet to my left and as I dream every now and again, the closet leads to a vast warehouse full of used baby clothes the mother kept from past children that grew up and moved away. I kept the lights off. I crawled on the dusty floor until I was lodged under a bunch of blankets or carpet. The mother and a henchmen entered the room and turned on the lights. Perception then went to a camera angle near the wall. I saw where I was. They didn't. Then I woke up. I wonder what Freud would say about that. Should I finish the story? I do remember waiting around with the gun wondering if I should kill myself or climb/jump out the window. Is a babysitter truly the hero?

vernacular monkey	Jan 2 2009 1:13 AM Hi. What is Equal Opportunity Employment when any emloyer can deny someone a job for having visible body modifications? All too often I hear of people taking out their piercings and/or covering their tattoos to have a job. Employers uphold the idea that body mods offend customers which lowers sales..but, firstly, they have no problem selling to the body mod culture and secondly, the only people that are 'offended' by people with body mods are the same people that are 'offended' by having a black waiter or a homosexual clerk. Why cater to such bigots in an everchanging world? And boo to the jewelry companies that say nothing of the taboo placed upon their products. It may sound irrational but do American's just love segregation..and since the law prohibits the segregation of racial minorities and women do people place stereotype on the millions of people with body mods out of necessity for hate? The body mod culture has little to no voice because, unfortunately, the government doesn't seem to care and we must pay for our living situations. What I'm saying is that a person's aesthetic value has no bearing on their competence as an employee of any profession.
