I love spending time with my daughter, my family and my
friends. All of my closest friends are very positive and
motivated people. I have been successfully self-employed for
most all of my adult life. I am an entrepreneur and love what
I do! I wake up every morning and look forward to
doing what I want, when I want without having to answer to a
boss. I get to meet people all over the world and help them
do what I do. I help people tap into their potential and get
started living their dreams instead of just dreaming to live them some
day. I teach people to tap into their inner-strength, to grow
stronger and to be successful.
To do
that, you absolutely MUST be
in business for yourself. You will never Be Do or Have
everything you want in life IF you are
working for someone and helping them build their dreams…not
yours. My success didn’t come overnight and
I’ve been around the block a few times.
I’ve made some mistakes (some of them pretty big) and by
tapping into my experience, the people that team up with me do NOT
have to make these same mistakes.

My Background: I grew
up in a small town in Northern Iowa. I loved the outdoors and
nature from an early age and explored far and wide. I was
always an athlete and in college played running back on the football
team. After college I went after the American
Dream. I got a good job, I got married and started
a family. For most people that may have been enough but my job made me
feel like I was on a treadmill going nowhere. I worked very
hard! My job required that I travel and one year I was on the
road over 35 weeks. I earned a good living but
what’s in a paycheck if you have no freedom or
security. Before I woke up, I had lost my marriage and some
of my spirit. I asked myself…What
kind of life is this? I just could not, WOULD
NOT conform to the 40-40-40 Plan…40 Hours a Week
for 40 Years to get a 40 Per Cent reduction in pay at retirement.
That started me down the road to becoming an entrepreneur. I
made a choice then and there that I was going to build my life as I
wanted it to be…not dictated by a job or a boss.
Has the road been filled with bumps and bruises? You bet it
has! Would I trade it for anything…..Hell NO!
I Needed MORE FREEDOM!
I’ve owned a number of conventional businesses over the years
and most recently founded built a successful CO2 Laser Distribution
business throughout the 90’s. Something was still
missing and that was my freedom. I was working 60 to 70 hours
a week to have the lifestyle I wanted and to pay all of the
bills. Whenever I slowed down to enjoy my life and spend time
with those most important to me, my business slowed down as
well. Something had to change..…I wasn’t
getting any younger and there was so much more I wanted to do with my
life…so many places I wanted to visit …....
adventures to experience....…people to meet….SO
MUCH MORE!
So in 2003 I decided it was time for change again. I
researched all kinds of business opportunities and found that many
people were earning absolute fortunes working from home using the
Internet. I looked at many opportunities and I have to admit
it was very confusing at first. I picked an MLM business and
jumped in with both feet. It wasn’t as easy as I
thought it would be and the road was riddled with potholes and
bumps. I went through the whole MLM merry-go-round and was
simply not able to sustain a significant income. I worked
very hard and even with all of my business experience, I was losing
ground fast.
I Was Sinking! Then all of a sudden when my
boat was sinking I was introduced to a business model that has changed
my life! It was about that time that I happened to be online searching
and found Mike
Dillard's Coffeehouse Letter. Reading
this document really opened my eyes to why I was having such a
difficult time achieving success in an MLM. The words really
rang true to what my experience had been in MLM. I don't
regret having been involved in a number of MLMs because I learned a
lot...mostly that MLM's are not for me.
The HUGE Paradighm Shift
Mike Dillard's Coffeehouse Letter introduced me to
the HUGE paradighm shift that was occuring in the Home Business
Industry. Programs that took years to develop were being replaced by Top-Tier businesses
using the "Get Paid Today"
business model. Top-Tier refers to a business
where you can earn $1,000 to as much as $10,000 a sale and still earn a
large residual income from the efforts of others but you do not need to
build a team of hundreds or thousands of people before you start making
a significant income. You can start making $1,000 a sale on
your first day!
Now
I can stay home or travel some place fun and work from anywhere anytime
as long as I have an Internet connection. I do as I
please. I’m not a slave to the phone anymore or do
I have to deal with countless hours on the road, at airports and hotels
like I did in the past.
It’s really pretty simple and anyone can do it!
I don’t know anything about you yet but maybe
you’ve experienced some of the same frustrations and
challenges in your life as me. You’ve read this far
so I gotta believe that we have something in common. At some
point all motivated success-minded entrepreneurial people end up at a
crossroads in life…..It’s
either going to be more of the same or time for a change!

Many people use there precious resources building watch towers. Then they man their watch tower and keep watch for something bad to happen in there lives. I say that instead of manning our watch towers and waiting for something bad to happen, we should use our resources to go out into the world and make something good happen. Thanksgiving will soon be upon us, and I thought that this week I would focus my thought on something that I am grateful for. I feel grateful for this gift that is my life, and I give thanks for all the beautiful places that I have seen and had the opportunity to photograph. I hope that you have a great holiday weekend.
It’s that time of year again. The Canadian Geese have started their migration south to warmer climates. As the geese travel southward to Mexico, they stop off to rest near one the many bodies of water in the bay area. These birds seem to have a natural radar that points them towards their destination. I think some of us at one time or another have wished that we had something inside of us that would make it easier to find our way in life. We may not have the natural radar of the goose, but somehow we still find our way through the pitfalls of our lives, and many of us even reach that “warmer destination “. I hope that you have a great weekend.
I think that one of the reasons that I like nature photography so much, is because there are so many lessons that we can learn from observing nature. Diligence is one thing that some of us may lack from time to time (me included).
I think that we can all learn from watching this little spider. It takes hours to build the web, but the spider continues building until it is completed. Then after the web is built the spider might sit in the middle of this web for days waiting for it to catch prey. Yes, some of you may say that the spider is scary, but if you can look past your fears, there is a lot that you can learn.
Many dream of living in castles or mansions but few will ever experience living in such high style.
The key to obtaining such a lofty goal as better living conditions, or anything else for that matter, is to appreciate the things that you already have.
Many people look to some "knight in shining armor" to solve there problems. We all wear "armor" of one sort or another. Though our armor may be tarnished and dented we are all "knights" and we can handle any problem that our life decides to throw at us.
At times when we must face a problem, we must become as still and quiet as a feather falling to the ground in order to receive the answer that was blocked out by the "noise" of our lives.
