The Beer Bomb recipe for Fall of '09 is this. . . THE PUMPKINBOMB! Ask your bartender for a half pint of Shipyard PumpkinHead Beer (don't accept one of the cheap knock-offs, won't work), then a chilled shot of Vanilla Vodka and Baileys. Drop the shot in and slam it down, Car Bomb style . . . it is a nice and refreshing alternative to the same old things being done over and over and over and over and over again downtown. . . . and over . . .

About me: This page began as a forum to share Beer Bomb seasonal recipes. Then we did a couple of bar tours on bicycles through Downtown Orlando,which included the groups downing several Beer Bombs along the way, The Beer Bomb Bike Tour was born. Then, in spring of '07, we got ahold of The Shipyard Bus from the brewery in Portland, ME and took things to the next level. The goal of the Beer Bomb Bus Tours is to combine great beers, great people discussing great beers, and traveling to some of the best beer bars in Central Florida. This page will always be updated with the seasons current Beer Bomb recipe, and upcoming Beer Bomb Bike, Bus, Baseball, Beach, and Boat Tours . . . you just have to be a bit adventurous . . . .
NEXT EVENTS:
We will be doing another Beer Bomb Bike Tour very soon. Now that we are oficially in the dog days of summer, I will move the rides back to evening time. This ride will begin at 7 pm at 903 Mills Market and will wind through downtown Orlando. As usual, there will be a great microbrew featured at each stop. No charge for the ride, all beers will be discounted, and you will make new friends (people and beers) . . . The last ride had the largest turnout ever!
PUMPKINHEAD RELEASE PARTY! It may not feel like it outside just yet, but PumpkinHead season is getting close. The first kegs to the state of Florida are going straight to Crooked Bayou for this annual release party. $5 cover includes your first PumpkinHead draft. Also, for your listening pleasure, a fantastic lineup of live music. Dirty Shannon will be kicking the night off with an intimate acoustic set . . . The Slippery Slopes will then come in and rattle the cage a little bit . . . . Then Mike Dunn and The Kings of New England will finish off the night in a professional fashion. Special pricing on PumpkinHead draft and PUMPKINBOMBS all night long . . . . . Doors open at 6 and I have no idea what time they will close!
Shipyard Bus to U2 in Tampa October 9th. If you are going to see U2, why drive when you can ride on The Shipyard Bus? $40 gets you a seat on the bus with fellow U2 fans to and from the show. Tickets are now on sale at The Harp and Celt and seats are very limited!
