About me:

.. I am a rock musician drug and alcohol free. I have chosen the path of the christian as of late, but will be respectful to others who don't see eye to eye with me. I just want the same humility and respect in return. I am a single dad raising a little girl myself that is 11 now. for years I had doubts about religion.. too many seemed to be man created concepts, including the various versions of christ so I finally decided to start praying for the true god reveal themselves to me with confirmations a real and living god is what I wanted . and the christian god stepped up to the plate plain and simple. I am not here to disrepect other people or their way of thinking or believing. and like I said all I ask is for that same respect in return.. what motivated my choices and changes well I love my friends who come from all sorts of back grounds and matter to me a lot but after seeing a number of lives fall apart of people I cared about, I had to seek, and find, and ask god to help me, so maybe I could be more of a help for these people. because I can't do it alone. a lot has changed about me and a lot more will change as time passes I use to play around with sensing things about people that some would have felt was occult like, but I simply felt I was using natural intuition . I don't think along those lines anymore, but I believe that there is a greater way to be guided and that is by trusting gods spirit . I have been getting some medical conditions fixed through surgery from injuries that have limited my abilities because I want less pain and more mobility so I can continue on living a normal life. as for music I have grown tired of people thinking it is about drugs or drinking and all the other things I keep seeing destroy their lives and lives around them. to me becoming a rock star is useless if you lose or hurt those you love... and the good book says something that has a lot of common sense when it says: "what good is it to gain the world if you lose your own soul".' I thought it was about the love for music not that other stuff ! but music is powerful and I want to use it for the right reasons especilly if it can better someone elses life so yes...... I have submit that to gods guidence because I have rocks star friends or acquaintainces that have lost far more than they have gained in monetery value and fame. so I have decided to submit my musical talent to god and have declined some kind offers to tour, be on labels, or record. I am straight and have a small number of awesome female friends. and have dated a few off and on, but recently have chosen to be celebate and work on growing spiritually. as for what I share here thinking you know me just by reading my profile is like thinking you know how to drive a tank because you read a pamphlet about it. thats not how it works you can read my profile, but that doesn't really let you know me or my heart. that can only happen by talking to me and getting to know me... I am not perfect and I make mistakes along the way. in fact we all do. so that is enough to remind me to keep my attutude in check and hope others will catch on and do the same thing. as for hobbies other than music . I like nature, bicycling, amusement parks , reading, martial arts. hanging out with kind hearts. and a lot more . if you have any questions. just ask... have a great day.... karl
