"Beerjacket, aka Peter Kelly, has played with us a few times before so it's good to have him with us again. Great songs, and any man who thumps a tambourine with his foot whilst he's playing is good by us. And a charming gentleman to boot."
Fyfe, Guillemots
"First up, local acoustic guitar playing singer songwriter, Beerjacket, plays a miniature set of pretty songs delivered with a similar vocal punch to The Guillemots front man, Fyfe Dangerfield. Its little surprise that it was Fyfe who invited Mr. Jacket to perform!
His songs are captivating, his guitar playing pretty incredible, and unlike most artists who insist on keeping things stripped down, Beerjacket actually succeeds in keeping his sound interesting throughout the set. Theres a billion other guys out there trying to do what Beerjacket does, but the difference is that Beerjacket has the talent and the natural charisma to be special."

"There's something of the Ryan Adams about him, in the louds and the softs of the vocals and the alt.country guitar twangs, and the regular comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Elliott Smith aren't miles off the mark, but whoever he sounds like, he sounds good. 4/5"

As always Peter, love the new song. The vocals in it are very very good. Quite different from your usual vocals I find. It's very nice. I look forward to "Invited Ghosts". Hopefully I'll be at the Tuts gig but I'm not promising anything cause usually something gets in my way.
I really like your new song! Although i may be biased, as i have a medical condition that releases massive quantities of serotonin into my brain every time i hear a drum machine.

You inspired, is inspired the write word, your email (several months ago which is exactly my point) made me think about how lazy I was being and made me write a song it's called a boy of inaction.
