Merry Misfits of Doom's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | The Merry Misfits of Doom have been performing in theaters and at Renaissance festivals since 1999. Their original shows including fan favorites The Stage Show Spectacular! and Bill Shakespeare's Iambic Jubilee! have packed houses and busted guts throughout the Western US.
Wylie Withers discovered improvisational theatre in his 15th year, performing with Ventura Area TheatreSports. He founded Santa Barbara TheatreSports, and was Artistic Director for the company for 3 years. After being invited to join Los Angeles TheatreSports, he also founded The Merry Misfits of Doom in the latter part of 1998 and has directed the troupe ever since. As well as TheatreSports and Bang! Improv, Wylie has been seen in Beverly Hills, 90210, and such films as Ghostworld and Man on the Moon.
Greg David Jones has been performing improv, sketch, and stand-up for over 15 years with such groups as Second City, The Groundlings, Bang! Improv, TheatreSports, and Improv Olympic.
