Bees Deluxe is a full-tilt, acid blues/funk/rock collective comprised of Boston-based musicians. Among their favorite venues, they've played at Jake's Dixie Roadhouse, in Waltham, Fat Boy Bill's Milford, Frankie Dee's in Kingston, the Honey Fitz in Malden, the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain, Firefly's in Marlboro, The Burren in Davis Square, Glory in Andover, played at the Newport Blues Café, they've also hosted the Weekly Sunday Blues Jam at both the Loft in Harvard Square, (the venue formerly known as The House of Blues), and at Johnny D's in Somerville. They have played at MIT and Northeastern University, many public benefit, private, and corporate bookings.
Their unique repetoire include over three sets of floorboard-stomping originals and 60s, 70s, and 80s covers from Little Feat, The Meters, Billie Holiday, Derek Trucks, Donny Hathaway, Steely Dan, B.B.King, ZZ Top, Robben Ford, Muddy Waters, Bonnie Raitt, Curtis Mayfield, Albert King, Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Jimi Hendix, SoulLive, Roy Buchanan, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Herbie Hancock, Derek & the Dominoes, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
