New members and other updates.
As some of you may already be aware we have at last filled the singer-shaped hole our lineup had with the likes of ex-State Of The Enemy vocalist Louis Brown. We've already played a couple of shows with him sessioning and the response has been brilliant and as a result he in now joining full-time. We look forward to writing some kickass stuff with him for 2010.
Guitarist-wise we have the sexy sexy Jamie Keable of When All Else Fails sessioning for us until we find a permanent guitarist - which we are very grateful for.
So it looks like 2010 is going be a sweet year for us, hopefully we'll see a load of you at the new shows we have lined up - lord knows we cant wait to play them.
Also we'd like to say a massive thank you to Open Minded Music for having us on the bill for their Christmas Bash - we have to say all jokes aside it was definitely a highlight of 2009 for all of us.
See you all in 2010!

Zach has left early so we're looking for a new guitarist now.
Unfortunately, Zach has had to leave Before Silence Falls early due to personal commitments. We would like to wish him good luck with whatever he decides to pursue.
As a result we are making our search for a new guitarist more urgent - we will have people to fill in until we find somebody permanent so our live show will not suffer at all.
As before we are looking for somebody who can play guitar to a high level, and who is committed to the band for practices and gigs (practices are usually once a week). Being able to transport yourself to and from places is an added bonus, but in general, a committed, able guitarist with plenty of creative talent is ideal.

Zach's Departure
We are sad to announce that after Christmas, our good friend Zach will be leaving the band to concentrate on other things. We will remain in contact with him, and always be great friends with him - this is definitely not goodbye from all of us!
We will therefore be looking for a new guitarist and vocalist to take Zach's place, which will be a hard one to fill indeed. We have been so used to such a high level of performing from Zach that it is only natural for us to be searching for somebody who can match his talent.

New shows and Essex Undiscovered Semis...
We are through to the Semi Finals of Essex Unsigned - Good times! It's going to be held at Chinnerys in Southend on October 18th (thats a Sunday). Bit of an awkward date but since when has going crazy at a gig on a Sunday night ever done anyone that much harm the next day? Exactly. So we hope as many of you as possible will come along as we really need the support from the crowd to give our best performance.
On top of that we have a few new shows that've been put up - A charity gig for Lukemia Research at Bridgehouse II in Canning Town on 11th November - A show in Swanley on 21st November and we're also playing the annual Open Minded Music Christmas Gig on Saturday 19th December with Never Means Maybe and Who's Driving? Bear's Driving! with a few more bands TBC.
So flop out your calendars and have a look at which shows you can make it to!

Demos Uploaded...
Finally uploaded the finished versions of our 2 demos. Bare in mind we actually recorded these back in October 2008 so they're not entirely representative of our ever-changing sound. However they are up for free download from last.fm - link is just above^
We're also just about done putting the finishing touches on our new set. It features some new tracks and some reworked (quite drastically) old ones. Hopefully you'll be able to come down to a show soon and hear them as we're about to get to work booking a whole bunch of shows. Keep checking back for details.
- 26 April 2009 - We have been re-writing our old song 'Dont Hold Your Breath. It's now called Dont Hold your Breath (TDDUP) which means to death do us party. It's pretty epic coming in at about 8 minutes long.
We also have a new song called Paradise Falls so that means when we next play we have two new songs to show you. FLAME ON!
Recently Joey has in injured his windpipe and is smoothly on the mend, but this has been big enough to make him want to quit smoking... in his own time. He'll be on the nicotine patches so show some support!!!

Getting the new demos remixed and re-released for download
We're putting the demos back to the studio to be remixed as we really weren't happy with the quality of them. We'll possibly be getting them mastered too.
We've taken the one we put up off of free download now and we'll put it back up as well as the other demo when they're finished.
Keep ya ears peeled, we'll bulletin the life out of you when they're ready!

Plans for the summer...
We've decided to go down the route of recording some demos ourselves. We're not sure exactly how well it'll turn out, but it means we'll be able to regularly churn out this stuff we call music for you to hear so you can get an ear for it before coming to see us.
We've nearly got all the equipment, just a few more things (and a lot of money to spend) and we'll be there and ready to let you guys hear more of our new material.
Keep an ear out for updates etc.

Recordings Done!
We've just finished recording demos at Shutupfool Studios in Kelvedon. They're currently being mixed and we'll get them up for free download as soon as possible.
Even though they are 'new' recordings we started them a while back and have even moved on a lot since them. We plan to do more recordings of our NEW stuff around summer.
In the meantime why not come down to one of ours shows to hear how it's all coming along, hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Recording Booked
We'll be finishing off recording a couple of demos for y'all on 7th March. So expect to hear them a week or so afterwards!
We aplogise for the lateness, it's taken a while to get everything sorted with Joey joining the band and rearranging parts of the songs.
After this we'll be saving for a bigger release around the summertime so you'll have even more to look forward too.

New Lineup and a New Start
We're making a new start as a band in 2009
We have a new vocalist called Joey and our guitarist Zach now also does vocals. Joey mainly does screams while Zach sings so this opens up all new possibilities for us.
We're in the process of recording a couple of demos for you to hear, although we're currently saving for a second session to record the new vocals, so bare with us.
