The Beggars - music of Australia
The Beggars have a crystal clear song that rings out from the land down under. Renowned acoustic singer songwriters Quinton Dunne, Stuart Day and Renee Donaghey started the Australian Beggars in their home town of Adelaide in 2005. An acoustic, harmony rich and distinctly Australian band, their sound pays homage to its Country Folk and Pop roots but it so much more than the sum of its parts. A sense of identity and place underpins this music of Australia. Their special chemistry has found an audience with music lovers far and wide and is captured on their 2006 debut album “Beggars”. Their shear genius caught the ears of European DJs who introduced them to millions of listeners and put the band on top countdown charts across the E.U. The Beggars stage presence, humor and soaring free vocals have taken them around the world and their self titled CD is now distributed in many countries.
Technical:
Acoustics permitting The Beggars perform gathered around one large diaphragm condenser microphone and if required aditional microphones reinforce the instruments.
