"My Religion is Simple. My Religion is Compassion."
~ H.H. Tenzin Gyatzu, 14th Dalai Lama
"Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding."
"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."
"The further the spiritual evolution of mankind advances, the more certain it seems to me that the path to genuine religiosity does not lie through the fear of life, and the fear of death, and blind faith, but through striving after rational knowledge."
~ Albert Einstein

TO HIM THAT WAS CRUCIFIED
BY WALT WHITMAN
That we all labor together,
transmitting the same charge and succession;
We few, equals, indifferent of lands, indifferent of times;
We, enclosers of all continents, all castes—allowers of all theologies,
Compassionaters, perceivers, rapport of men,
We walk silent among disputes and assertions, but reject not the disputers, nor any thing that is asserted;
We hear the bawling and din—we are reach’d at by divisions, jealousies, recriminations on every side,
They close peremptorily upon us, to surround us, my comrade,
Yet we walk unheld, free, the whole earth over, journeying up and down, till we make our ineffaceable mark upon time and the diverse eras,
Till we saturate time and eras,
that the men and women of races, ages to come, may prove brethren and lovers, as we are.
The girl who silenced the world:
Who I'd like to meet: Peacemakers, martial artists, philosophers, religious people, atheists, agnostics, Rosicrucians, mystics practicioners, priests, ministers, Lamas, Monks, Rabbis, etc...
Instructors of all physical practices: yoga, pilates, alexander technique, tai chi, Hapkido, Karate, Taekwondo, etc..
Those who practice or teach meditations or inner practices like chi kong, Zen etc...
Basically anyone who sees the betterment of human kind and society a cause worth working for.

Over 1.2 million Tibetans have been killed by the Chinese government. 6000 monasteries were destroyed. And the tortures, killings and human rights violations continue. It's time to help the most peaceful people in the world have a voice. All they need is your participation and hope that people would defend a country that has no oil, no political influence and no weapons to offer. Their contribution is much deeper. What they offer is compassion, peace and lessons on how the world can be fixed.
Support the proposal of his Holiness the Dalai Lama to make Tibet a peace zone country, and help free the Tibetan people from violence and oppression.

"Because we all share this planet earth, we have to learn to live in harmony and peace with each other and with nature. That is not just a dream, but a necessity. We are dependent on each other in so many ways that we can no longer live in isolated communities and ignore what is happening outside those communities." -His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Happy Thanksgiving! O God of Love, make us more Thankful for All the Boundless mercies of Our daily life. Forgive us that we are so often ungrateful, complaining and discontented, taking for granted Your greatest gifts: the Blessings of Health, the Comforts of Home and Family life, the Joys of Friendship, the Wonders of Your Creation. Teach us day by day to Number Our Blessings and to receive each one as from Our Father's Hand; and Fill Our Lives with Gratitude, Our Lips with Praise; for the sake of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Someone special ~YOU~ Make it a point to do something today for someone special, someone whom you often take for granted, someone who deserves your full and complete support -- yourself!
Being good to yourself is not being selfish. It doesn't mean you must ignore others. Rather, it makes you able to offer more value to the other people in your world when you take good care of yourself. Putting yourself down is of no benefit to anyone. Helping yourself to grow and build will provide you with more to give.
Be positive with yourself. Be kind and generous with yourself. When was the last time you did something nice for yourself? You deserve some special attention. Be good to yourself and that goodness will overflow into the world and the people around you.
When we see a soul whose acts are all regal, graceful, and pleasant as roses, we must thank God that such things can be and are. From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all. Ralph Waldo Emerson Thank You for Being a Light in my Life Love Always SaturnsLdy
The word enlightenment conjures up the idea of some superhuman accomplishment, and the ego likes to keep it that way, but it is simply your natural state of felt oneness with Being. It is a state of connectedness with something immeasurable and indestructible, something that, almost paradoxically, is essentially you and yet is much greater than you. It is finding your true nature beyond name and form.
~ Eckhart Tolle
Can miles truly separate you from friends... If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there? ~Richard Bach~

Just dropping by to see what your up to and wish you a peaceful, smile filled weekend! It's been way too long since we last spoke, and I hope that in the meantime much good has passed your way.
Seek joy, first and foremost. Seek reasons to laugh. Seek reasons to offer words of praise to self and others. Seek beauty in nature, beasts and other humans. Seek reasons to love. In every segment of every day — look for something that brings forth within you a feeling of love. Seek that which uplifts you. Seek opportunities to offer that which uplifts another. Seek a feeling of Well-being. Know that your value can only be measured in terms of Joy. Acknowledge your absolute freedom to do any of these things or to not do any of these things — for it is, without exception, your choice in every moment of every day. ~Abraham-Hicks~
May Your Days be Full of JOY and LOVE! ~My Love To YOU~ ~ Always~
You and I are essentially infinite choice-makers. In every moment of our existence, we are in that field of all possibilities where we have access to an infinity of choices.
When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences and their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities. Deepak Chopra
When you're lonely, I wish you love. When you're down, I wish you joy. When you're troubled, I wish you peace. When things are complicated, I wish you simple beauty. When things look empty, I wish you hope.
