TO HIM THAT WAS CRUCIFIED
BY WALT WHITMAN

That we all labor together,
transmitting the same charge and succession;
We few, equals, indifferent of lands, indifferent of times;
We, enclosers of all continents, all castes—allowers of all theologies,
Compassionaters, perceivers, rapport of men,
We walk silent among disputes and assertions, but reject
not the disputers, nor any thing that is asserted;
We hear the bawling and din—we are reach’d at by divisions, jealousies, recriminations on every side,
They close peremptorily upon us, to surround us, my comrade,
Yet we walk unheld, free, the whole earth over, journeying up and down,
till we make our ineffaceable mark upon time and the diverse eras,
Till we saturate time and eras,
that the men and women of races, ages to come, may prove brethren and lovers, as we are.

The girl who silenced the world:

Who I'd like to meet:

Peacemakers, martial artists, philosophers, religious people, atheists, agnostics, Rosicrucians, mystics practicioners, priests, ministers, Lamas, Monks, Rabbis, etc...

Instructors of all physical practices: yoga, pilates, alexander technique, tai chi, Hapkido, Karate, Taekwondo, etc..

Those who practice or teach meditations or inner practices like chi kong, Zen etc...

Quantum physicists, scientists, inventors, mathematicians, etc...

Filmmakers, artists, photographers, poets, actors, playwrights, etc...

Basically anyone who sees the betterment of human kind and society a cause worth working for.

    There is nothing we like to see so much as the gleam of pleasure in a person's eye when he feels that we have sympathized with him, understood him. At these moments something fine and spiritual passes between two friends. These are the moments worth living

    "The nature of the cosmos is such that whatever vision you have about yourself and the world will become reality. As soon as you awaken to the power you have, you begin to flex the muscles of your courage.

    Then you can dream bravely: letting go of your limiting beliefs and pushing past your fears. You can start to come up with a truly original dream that germinates in your soul and bears fruit in your life."
    ~ Alberto Villoldo~

    The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship.

    Help build 3 of The Tibetan Photo Project Film Maker Education Centers in India so that Tibetans can continue to grow their voice through their films http://www.tibetanphotoproject.com

    Film Synopsis: On the invitation and prayers of tribal leaders, the Dalai Lama travels to a poor and remote Muslim village at the India Pakistan border. More than a symbolic gesture, the visit results in an invitation by the Dalai Lama to provided a modern education to children from the village while insuring their religious and cultural heritage. Without this film, this amazing story would never be known or seen.

    Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what
    we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into
    acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It
    can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home,
    a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of
    our past, brings peace for today, and creates a
    vision for tomorrow. ~Melody Beattie

    Count your blessings. Once you realize
    how valuable you are and how much
    you have going for you, the smiles
    will return, the sun will break out,
    the music will play, and you will finally
    be able to move forward the life that
    God intended for you with grace, strength,
    courage, and confidence.

    "Too often we underestimate the
    power of a touch, a smile, a kind
    word, a listening ear, an honest
    compliment, or the smallest act
    of caring, all of which have the
    potential to turn a life around."
    - Leo Buscaglia

    I've seen the light
    and it's in you ...
    in everything you are
    and in everything you do.

    It's a perfect light that
    shines for all to see;
    in fact it shines so brightly,
    it's pierced the heart of me.

    The light is from a friend,
    it's a light that keeps me warm;
    it lets me know how loved I am
    and keeps me safe from harm.

    FOR YOU I AM THANKFUL
    in so very many ways,
    and you lift up my spirits
    each and every day.

    To know that you are there for me
    makes me feel alive;
    it is your friendship's light upon
    which my own love thrives.

    Though 'thank you' isn't good enough,
    they're the only words I know,
    to say your light of friendship
    gives my world its glow.

    It's the simple things in life
    that are truly unforgettable

    Thanks for sharing your light with me ...

    "Because we all share this planet earth, we have to learn to live in harmony and peace with each other and with nature. That is not just a dream, but a necessity. We are dependent on each other in so many ways that we can no longer live in isolated communities and ignore what is happening outside those communities."
    -His Holiness the Dalai Lama

    Happy Thanksgiving!
    O God of Love, make us more Thankful for All the Boundless mercies of Our daily life.
    Forgive us that we are so often ungrateful, complaining and discontented, taking for granted Your greatest gifts: the Blessings of Health, the Comforts of Home and Family life, the Joys of Friendship, the Wonders of Your Creation.
    Teach us day by day to Number Our Blessings and to receive each one as from Our Father's Hand; and Fill Our Lives with Gratitude, Our Lips with Praise; for the sake of Jesus Christ Our Lord.

    Someone special ~YOU~
    Make it a point to do something today for someone special, someone whom you often take for granted, someone who deserves your full and complete support -- yourself!

    Being good to yourself is not being selfish. It doesn't mean you must ignore others. Rather, it makes you able to offer more value to the other people in your world when you take good care of yourself. Putting yourself down is of no benefit to anyone. Helping yourself to grow and build will provide you with more to give.

    Be positive with yourself. Be kind and generous with yourself. When was the last time you did something nice for yourself? You deserve some special attention. Be good to yourself and that goodness will overflow into the world and the people around you.

    -- Ralph Marston

    When we see a soul whose acts are all regal, graceful, and pleasant as roses, we must thank God that such things can be and are.
    From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all.

    The word enlightenment conjures up the idea of some
    superhuman accomplishment, and the ego likes to keep
    it that way, but it is simply your natural state of felt oneness
    with Being. It is a state of connectedness with something
    immeasurable and indestructible, something that, almost
    paradoxically, is essentially you and yet is much greater
    than you. It is finding your true nature beyond name and form.

    ~ Eckhart Tolle

    Can miles truly separate you from friends... If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?
