MySpace a place for friends

Theatre, Movies, Art, TRAVEL, Music and Reading. Decorating my home. Most shows on BRAVO... Circuit parties, D.J.'s, dancing, strobe lights, and forgetting the rest of the world for a few hours.

First and foremost... MUSICALS! And I don't mean a recording of my kid sister at the state fair singing, "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow", from Annie, type of musicals... I mean Original Broadway Cast Recording musicals! (and some Off-Broadway too).

What else? There's the circuit party djs, and their house collection, featuring: DJ Manny Lehman, DJ Abel, The Thunderpuss dynamic duo of DJ Barry Harris and DJ Chris Cox, DJ David Knapp, DJ Roland Belmares, DJ Monty Q, DJ Peter Rauhofer, DJ Victor Calderone, and of course, the "Circuit's Angels"... DJ Susan Morabito, DJ Lydia Prim, DJ Tracy Young, DJ Alyson Calagna, and DJ Kimberly S "Spinderella".

Next would be oldies... Yes, I am a nerd, or as spoken about in polite circles, "I have an old soul". Some favorites: The Byrds, Simon and Garfunkel, Aerosmith, The Doors, the Big Bopper, the Eagles, the Mamas and the Papas, Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Elvis Presley, the Andrews Sisters, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Motown's Stars: The Supremes, The Temptations, and Marvin Gaye.

Those retro classics of my youth... again Aerosmith, Salt & Peppa, the Beastie Boys, Boyz 2 Men, the Bangles, Wham!/George Michael, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Tone-Loc, Run D.M.C., Digital Underground, etc...

Then there are the Divas, Babs, The Divine Miss M, Judy Garland and her daughter Liza, Cher, MADONNA! MADONNA! MADONNA! (or is it Ester?) need I say more?

And a slew of others... Queen, U2, They Might Be Giants, Fatboy Slim, BT, Shakira, and on, and on....

Favorite Movies include: Clue, Soapdish, Noises Off!, The Bad Seed, Mommie Dearest, Rocky Horror Picture Show (especially when it's playing at the movie theatre), Neverending Story, the Harry Potter movie series, Willy Wonka, anything Tim Burton, most things John Waters, very few things with Marlon Brando or Dustin Hoffman in them (I despise "the Method")!

Pillow Talk, Rogers and Hammerstien Musicals (The King and I, The Sound of Music, etc...), Fosse Musicals (Chicago, Cabaret, Chorus Line), Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn and Bette Davis Movies, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and so much more.

BRAVO has become quite the obsession -- namely Project Runway!
