Бендот настана како последица на тенејџерскиот сон Бензона и се претвори во нешто сосема поинакво. Bei the Fish е формиран од страна на дипломираниот музичар Огнен Анастасовски кој целиот свој живот го посветил на создавање на звуци. На бендот му се приклучуваат Ненад Ѓорѓиевски Тонкин (програмерот, мозокот) и Валентина Миновска подарувајќи му го на бендот својот ангелски глас. Бендот претрпува многу кадровски промени, но сржта од предходно наведените е секогаш со бендот. Оваа, 2009. година нивните засега живи настапи ги надополнува Владимир Настевски на електронски тапани кој носи нова енергија и свежина во составот.
Со самото стратување на бендот почнува и нивниот творечки опус кој е извонредна мешавина на акустични инструменти, современа електроника, македонски и медитерански зачини и привлечен поп израз. Така, низ македонската музичка младина во 2003 година проструи неофицијалното издание „Listen“ кое ја носи со себе тежината на предходно споменатата привлечна мешавина. Музичките сладокусци се изненадени.

Прогресивната мрежа на радио станици од бившите југословенски простори Крос Радио (www.crossradio.org) во традиционалниот избор за сингл на годината 2003. приматот убедливо го доделува на песната „The End“ потпишана од страна на македонскиот состав Bei the Fish. Победата е уште позначајна затоа што на списокот под името Bei the Fish се најдоа веќе етаблирани имиња од бившите југословенски простори како Laibach, Обојени програм итн. Но интересно е што овие награди делуваат целосно мотивирачки за бендот кој продолжува да работи со несмален интензитет за да произведе квалитетен звук. Па така, песната „Bare Naked“ повторно се здобива со приматот сингл на годината според Крос Радио во 2006. година.
Во почетокот на 2006. година преку активната независна „ПМГ“ рекордингс, Bei the Fish да го реализираат своето прво официјално издание ЕПто „What are you fighting for?“.
Точно година дена подоцна преку независната „E Go East“ рекордс Bei the Fish успева да го реализира и своето прво официјално долгосвиречко издание насловено „Look Up“ кое според културниот интернет портал Плагијат (www.plagij.at) беше прогласено за најдобро македонско издание за годината 2007.
Групата никако не ги заобиколува ни значајните настапи во живо. Па така битни за споменување се настапите на фестивалите „Не ја убивајте 103ка“, „Rock for Peace“, „Таксират 2004“, „Balkan Black Box Festival“ – Берлин, Германија, 2004, „Битола отворен град 2005“, „Денови на македонска култура во Белград, Србија 2007“, „Прилеп, град на културата 2007“ како и две поголеми турнејата “Македонско културно Лето 2008“ како и небројани клупски настапи што во државава што надвор.
Во месец април 2008 година групата ја реализира својата европска турнеја која опфати 10 концерти во Србија, Хрватска, Босна, Словенија, Австрија и Германија. Неколку месеци подоцна, во јули 2008 година, бендот повторно оди на мини турнеја во Хрватска и Словенија.
Новиот албум е подготвен. Се вика “Time to Make Things Right”. Излегува во месец јуни 2009. година преку ПМГ рекорингс и Круг продукција. Велат бил двоен. За двојно задоволство!
The band comes from the teenage dream Benzona and moved into something completely different. Bei the Fish is created by musician Ognen Anastasovski, graduated double bass player, who spends his entire life to the creation of sounds. Two young people join the band - Gjorgjievski Nenad Tonkin (the programmer, the brain) and Valentina Minovska offering voice of an angel. The musical structure is changing the framework, but these three are always at the heart of the band. This year, 2009, his performances are supplemented with the drummer Vladimir Nastevski who brings new energy and freshness to the musical style of the band.
The musical expression of the group represents a unique fusion of acoustic instruments, electronics and modern Macedonian and Mediterranean condiment, with a captivating nature of pop music. Thus, in 2003 the Macedonian music lovers were able to enjoy the unofficial album "Listen." Music fans were surprised.

In the election of the traditional song of the year, by the progressive radio stations in the territory of the former Yugoslavia - Cross Radio (www.crossradio.org) in 2003 the song "The End" by Bei the Fish was awarded as single of the year. The success is even greater if one considers that bellow the name Bei the Fish on the list were several established names from the territory of the former Yugoslavia as Laibach, Obojeni program etc. It is interesting that these awards provide the reason for the group to work more intensively to produce high quality sounds. Thus, one more time the song "Bare Naked" was voted Single of the Year 2006 by Cross Radio listeners.
Bei the Fish finally releases first official, the EP "What are you fighting for?" in 2006 under the label of the most active and independent label PMG Recordings.
A year later Bei the Fish manages to bring out his first official LP "Look up" under the label E Go East Records. According to the cultural portal Plagijat (www.plagij.at), “Look up” has been awarded as best Macedonian album for the year 2007.
The band does not forget the shows and the public. In this context, the one that should be mention are festivals "Do ubivajte 103 ja-ka", "Rock for Peace", "Taksirat 2004", "Balkan Black Box Festival in Berlin, Germany 2004," Bitola - Open City 2005", "Days of Macedonian Culture" (Belgrade, Serbia, 2007), "Prilep - City of Culture 2007", and the tour "Macedonian Cultural Summer 2008" (5 dates) and the many performances in clubs in Macedonia and beyond these borders.
In April 2008 the the band went on tour performing 10 concerts in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria and Germany. A few months later, in July 2008, the band achieved a mini tour in Croatia and Slovenia.
The new album is ready. It is called "Time to make things right". It is going to be released in June 2009 under the label of PMG Recordings and Cicle Production. It is double album. For double pleasure.
Le groupe provient du rêve adolescent Benzona qui évoluait en quelque chose complètement différent. Bei the Fish est créé par le musicien diplômé Ognen Anastasovski qui consacre toute sa vie à la création des sons. Deux jeunes joignent le groupe – Nenad Gjorgjievski Tonkin (le programmeur, le cerveau) et Valentina Minovska qui offre sa voix d’ange. La structure musicale subit des changements du cadre, mais ces trois sont toujours au cœur de la bande. Cette année, 2009, ses spectacles sont complétés par la batterie électronique de Vladimir Nastevski qui apporte une nouvelle énergie et fraîcheur au style musical du groupe.
L’expression musicale du groupe représente une fusion exceptionnelle d’instruments acoustiques, d’électronique moderne et de condiments macédoniens et méditerranéens, ayant le caractère captivant de la musique pop. Ainsi, en 2003 la jeunesse musicale macédonienne avait la possibilité d’apprécier l’édition non officielle « Listen ». Les amateurs de musique ont été surpris.

Ces critiques très positives au niveau local prennent aussi de caractère international. À l’élection traditionnelle de la Chanson de l’année, le réseau progressif des stations de radio du territoire de l’ex Yougoslavie Cross Radio (www.crossradio.org) a donné la primauté à la chanson “The End”, signée par le groupe macédonien Bei the Fish. Le succès est encore plus grand si l’on prend en considération qu’au dessous du nom de Bei the Fish sur la liste se trouvaient plusieurs noms établis du territoire de l’ex Yougoslavie en tant que Laibach, Obojeni program etc. C’est qui est intéressant, c’est que ces reconnaissances fournissent le motif pour le groupe de travailler encore plus intensivement afin de produire des sons de qualité supérieure. Ainsi, la chanson “Bare Naked” a été élue Chanson de l’Année 2006 selon le Cross Radio.
Bei the Fish réalise enfin sa première édition officielle, le maxi (EP) “What are you fighting for?” en 2006 sous le label de la production active et indépendante PMG Recordings.
Un an plus tard Bei the Fish arrive à réaliser sa première édition officielle LP “Look up” sous le label de “E Go East records”, une édition qui, d’après le portail culturel Plagijat (www.plagij.at), a été le meilleur album macédonien de l’année 2007.
Le groupe n’oublie pas aux spectacles et aux auditeurs. Dans ce contexte, il faut mentionner les expériences aux festivals “Ne ja ubivajte 103-ka”, “Rock for Peace”, “Taksirat 2004”, “Balkan Black Box Festival” à Berlin, Allemagne 2004, “Bitola – otvoren grad 2005”, “Denovi na makedonskata kultura” (Belgrade, Serbie, 2007), “Prilep – grad na kulturata 2007”, et aussi la tournée “Makedonsko kulturno leto 2008” et les nombreuses représentations dans les clubs en Macédoine et au delà de ses frontières.
En avril 2008 le groupe a réalisé sa tournée en donnant 10 concerts en Serbie, en Croatie, en Bosnie, en Slovénie, en Autriche et en Allemagne. Quelques mois plus tard, en juillet 2008, le groupe réalise une mini tournée en Croatie et en Slovénie.
Le nouvel album est prêt. Il s’appelle “Time to make things right”. Il sort en juin 2009 sous le label de PMG Recordings et de Production Krug. Il est double. Pour nous faire un double plaisir.
