Bekah, a special education teacher, is a diverse singer, moving easily between traditional and modern genres. She truly has heart for the hurting, lonely, and forgotten souls of this world. Her original music is a painting of her life's journey from bondage of sorrow to freedom and peace!
As a worship leader, she has performed with the Who Am I band, Crossroads Community Church, and filling in for worship leaders on much needed vacations. As a solo artist, Rebekah has travelled from Florida, to Michigan, and Texas. Her first album, "Somewhere" was well received by the community and her newest project, "Out of Darkness" is expected to be released by 2010.
Rebekah performs various jazz concerts with the Gary Filip and Friends Band. She can be found joining Gary on Wednesday evenings from 8-9pm at the No Frills Grill in Lake Placid, FL.
Shows currently available include:
30-45 minutes children's action camp songs,
20-30 minutes Songs we love about taking care of our world,
30-60 minutes Worship (contemporary and spirt-led),
30 minutes to 2 hours of any combination of the following genres: Jazz/American Songbook, Broadway/Classical, CCM, and Country.

We may have some gigs coming up soon. I am working on it. I am waiting to confirm one for June 14 at a Cancer Benefit being put on by a sports bar. We have been rehearsing and we have a decent show put together. I am excited. I hope your recording process is going well!
