Nach der Gründung 2007 durchlief Bekahoona mehrmals Besetzungsänderung, bis die Band zu dem heutigen, stimmigen Lineup fand. Mit Frederic Schneider als Sänger und an der Gitarre, Timo Peters als Gitarrist und Rapper unterstützt durch Sven Adamik am Bass und Eric Michels an den "pounding drums" spielten sie im Jahr 2010 mehrere Gigs in und um Aachen und hatten nach eigener Aussage vorallem "verdammt viel Spass".
Live konnten sie mit dieser Begeisterung an der Musik unter anderem auf dem Jukutu Bandkontest 2010 in Belgien überzeugen und gewannen die Möglichkeit auf diversen Folgegigs im Jahr 2011 zu spielen.
Ihre Musik beschreiben die Vier als eine Mischung aus Indie, Funk, Crossover und Britpop.
Um diese Beschreibung etwas zu erleichtern haben sich Bekahoona im Dezember 2010 auf den Weg ins Studio gemacht um ein Demotape aufzunehmen, welches zum neuen Jahr veröffentlicht werden soll.

Stawag Music Award in Aachen gewonnen und nächste Woche gehts schon zum Viertelfinale des Toys2Master Kontests in Siegburg. Langsam hab ich das Gefühl unsere Fans werden uns nie verlassen. Danke!
