Hello! It's your last Sunday?! I really would like to see you! What is the motivation that leads you away from us? What time does Hope start... 10:00 or 10:30?
chemo's been pretty good, but he was fighting them hardcore on the oral meds. it finally came down to them trying to use a nasal tube and he didnt like that so he started taking them on his own, i guess one of the nurseshad a talk with him one on one last night or today and he's been taking them pretty good since then.
So sad that I haven't met this little man yet! My new little Silas is gorgeous! He has been in the NICU since he was born. Emergency c-section was the dramatic entrance he felt he needed.
I'm watching the first season right now... but the funny thing is that i've seen an episode or two of the new season, because we (somehow) managed to get showtime for free for three months. i love it!!! second only to Sons of Anarchy, you might want to give that one a try when you're done :))
We could come over after the football game -- What time are you thinking for Trick or Treat tomorrow -- I'll call you as I am never on myspace anymore.
We would love to but we have a football game and no sitter! My mom is out of town and my babysitter NB is not available that day. Bummer -- we would really have liked to go.
It's SUPER easy! Mix: 8 ounces sour cream 3 cups cooked chicken -- shredded or cubed one can diced green chilies 1 cup shredded cheese (I use a mexican blend)
Open the enchalada sauce and put in in a skillet -- if you use corn tortillas then warm the sauce (so the corn tortillas soften to roll up better) if you use flour don't have to warm. Dunk every tortilla in the sauce on both sides and then fill and roll. Top with remaining sauce and another 1/2-1 cup shredded cheese
So you talked the doc into going longer?!? Major kudos Branda!!! What do you have to do to make him happy? And how long is he giving you? I have a good feeling about my prediction of the 14th ;)
Just for the the record I had to be induced with alex and I did pitocin as well. I wholeheartedly agree with molly. I was able to walk around and even use the birthball which was a godsend for me. If are going to have to do this do this on your terms. I fought for my birth with emilee and actually had a doctor asked not to practice their anymore because of my actions but that is another story. :) You are strong trust in yourself and your body.
I had to do some negotiating myself... with Genna I was able to negotiate 2 weeks past the due date. With Ian, they said they were only going to give me 4 or 5 days past the due date, but he came on his own 1 day after. I just told them I did not want to be induced and asked what hoops I could jump through to satisfy them. I made it plain that I was more than willing to get non-stress tests, ultrasounds, whatever. I know the medical climate is changing, but you are still the one in charge of your body. They can't "make" you do anything, remember who's in charge in here!
P.S. i was induced with Genna 2 weeks past the due date. we negotiated being able to walk around during labor with the pitocin drip with the tele-monitor thingy (usually they don't allow this: they force you to sit in a bed). having done that birth, and then ian's birth (also walking around, but no pitocin), both without pain meds, they were equal in intensity/pain. the key is, though, to get them to agree to let you walk around if you have to have the pit.
Ok. Please call your dr. today and ask him if he'll give you cytotec instead of pitocin on Monday (assuming you go that long). it is WAY, WAY, WAY better and lets things happen more "naturally". Pitocin is OF THE DEVIL!!!! and don't let him talk you out of cytotec. dr's don't like it because it's less under their control and more under your body's. but i'm praying that you don't go until monday. as my midwife said a million times at the end of my pregnancy...."VIGOROUS SEX!"
I thought I picked the 14th for the due date . . . but I'm too lazy to look at your blog and check. Any signs of labor? Maybe your in labor right now as I am writing this!
