well, I finally got the qtrs welded and modified... took quite a while, more than we could've done in a weekend. time for the exhaust work a little body work and some fine tuning and I should be on the road before Halloween!!! I still have the '57 here and I'll be getting some cash soon as well, please let me know if you're still interested in helping out, REST IN PEACE! ; )>
HEY!!! just sending you an update on the car situation... looks like I'll be needing to get rid of the '57 sooner rather than later... had the landlady stopped by unannounced and started busting balls about the amt of cars here... looks like I may have someone willing to do the bodywork on the Hearse in trade for my GMC S-15. so, I guess we could still work out a trade for the qtr. clips and/or hubcaps for some exhaust work that I still need done on the Hearse. give me a call and I'll catch you up to speed. WOOHOO!!! so, I had my friend that has a torch come over and make the cuts on the qtr panels of the '67 CDV on Sat... all I have to do now is unbolt 'em from the frame and maybe chase a few cuts w/a sawzall and I'll be ready to start trying to figure out how to fit 'em up to the Hearse... progress, slow but sure! : )>
