Belen Thomas ha avuto un grande successo negli anni novanta creando con il produttore Pino Toma lo stile "spanish dance" con canzoni come "Y MI BANDA TOCA EL ROCK" (remake de "La mia banda suona il rock" di Ivano Fossati), "AIRE", "PANAMA", contenute nell'album di esordio "IBERICA". I fantastici duetti con MIKE FRANCIS ("SURVIVOR"), PATRICK HERNANDEZ ("BORN TO BE ALIVE") sono saliti in vetta alle classifiche. Il duetto con UDO JURGENS ("SEMPRE ROMA") di cui è autrice è stato l'inno della Germania in occasione dei campionati di calcio del '90.
Ha partecipato più volte al Festival di Sanremo come ospite straniera e a diverse edizioni del Festivalbar.
Nel 1996 con lo pseudonimo di "OTERO" esce il brano "LE BIANCHE SPOSE" prodotto dal CONSORZIO PRODUTTORI INDIPENDENTI, contenuto anche nella compilation "MATRILINEARE".
Nel 2002 è coautrice e protagonista del musical originale "PASSEGGERI" in collaborazione con l'OPUS BALLET.
Il nuovo EP "NEMMENO DOPO IL BUIO", contiene sette tracce da lei composte e realizzate in collaborazione Giorgio Costantini, che spaziano dal pop elettronico al gothic, includendo un originalissima versione pop del "requiem" in lingua latina.
