The band, created by guitarist Mirek Gil, should be known already by fans of Collage and Satellite. Not only was Mirek a founding member and main song writer of Collage, but he played with Satellite as well (on their debut album). For his new band he recruited former Satellite bassist Przemas Zawadzki (bass guitar), Tomek Rozycki (vocals, guitars), Adam Milosz (keyboards), Wlodek Tafel (drums) and Satomi (violin). Six people, each with a different musical sensitivity. How does it work? Mirek, Tomek, Przemas... for them music is passion and joy of creation. Adam, Satomi and Tafel... for them it’s all about education, notes, classical music. It seems strange but they do understand each other very well. Nobody defined the overruling style and concept. They do what they feel is right…
Believe’s debut album “Hope to See Another Day” (2006) received very good reviews from both media and fans. The music appealed to the lovers of the old Collage but also to the fans of Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd and… Riverside.
The follow-up album entitled “Yesterday Is A Friend” brought a powerful sound full of faith and melody with some hidden flavors. Feat. 9 stories about love, happiness, freedom, truth, faith - the most important things in everyone's life.
Believe's first DVD entitled "Hope To See Another Day Live" was released by Metal Mind Productions !!! in July 2008. The setlist for the show recorded in November 2007 (Wyspanski Theater in Katowice, Poland) included songs from the debut album "Hope to See Another Day" plus a song from "Yesterday Is a Friend" as also a song from Mr. Gil's repertoire. DVD also included an interview with Mirek Gil and Tomek Rózycki, photo gallery, 2 bonus audio tracks (taken from the "Yesterday is a Friend" album), Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound and more!
At the end of 2008 Believe changed it's line-up. The band has begun a new era with a new vocalist – Karol Wróblewski.
Believe is currently in the final stage of their work on the third studio album entitled “This Bread Is Mine”. The new material is currently mixed with the help of a very experienced producer Włodek Kowalczyk. “This Bread Is Mine” will be released by Metal Mind Productions in early August 2009. The standard edition will feature 11 tracks. A bonus track will be added to the digipak edition. Full details to be announced soon!!!
After releasing Hope to See Another Day and Yesterday is a Friend the time is now coming to reveal the next story of Believe. Just lean back and let yourself drift into the new and fresh world. The forthcoming album This Bread is Mine is a set of eleven tracks dedicated to those who like to listen and seek sense in different sounds…
Will you be able to find the hidden message behind the title…? Or maybe you will start pondering over your place in this world, where you struggle to earn your daily ‘bread’ and keep your current position? What that ‘bread’ will turn out to be for you? Is your existence a true unlimited freedom? Maybe you will come to the conclusion that everything that you have seen so far is just an illusion taking source from your pain? What will you decide to choose: The reality just as it is or your own path to a better future?
Just put on This Bread is Mine and listen to the musical message from Believe.
The lyrics have been written by Robert Sieradzki, a dedicated friend, who is also the author of the lyrics of Believe’s two previous albums. The lyrics fit to the music perfectly and just intuitively reflect the emotions evoked by the collection of the album sounds.
The music itself is a result of feelings and life experiences of all Believe members:
Mirek Gil (ex-Collage, ex-Mr. Gil, guitars), Karol Wróblewski (vocals, flute, keyboards), Przemas Zawadzki (ex-Collage, bass guitar), Satomi (violin), and Vlodi Tafel (drums & percussion).
This new project is a fresh look on the musical reality, and that is why, after tedious and deep search, Believe managed to find new energy to present 11 new compositions to its fans.
The creation of the new Believe sounds would be much more difficult if it was not for Paulina Druch (cello) and Bartek Zbroszczyk (guitar). The mix of the album has been performed by no one else than Włodek Kowalczyk, Polish producer responsible for completion of projects of such musical legends as Klaus Mit Foch, Róże Europy, Daab, Oddział Zamknięty, Dezerter, and Lady Pank.
In order to get even more advanced sound quality, Believe collaborated with Andy Jackson, prominent British sound engineer, who was in charge of Pink Floyd’s and David Gilmour’s albums. Andy is happy to have been nominated for the Grammy reward twice. His most recent work that he carried out was David Gilmour’s album Live in Gdańsk . Andy’s mastering work is only a little element that Believe had been looking for a long time until they finally succeeded.
What are the results of all those efforts? Just find out yourselves. Join the new world of Believe music.
This Bread is Mine is scheduled for release in August this year. !!! Start Code To Apply Top Banner !!!!

There once was a time in the land where the sun was worshiped as god and its embrace with the moon made the earth hold its breath as time stood still in silence, and at that hour the smothered sun shall cloak the whole world in the dead blackness of midnight giving birth to the Element Of Eclipse.
