K.C. (Ken Clinger) has been indulging in music ever since his mother bribed him to straighten his room at age 3, with a new kiddie record each time it was nice and tidy. In 2nd grade he got his first portable tape recorder, and in 3rd grade began piano lessons with Mr. Niles. Discovering the Beatles increased the level of musical indulgence, and K.C. went on to attempt to learn guitar, study music composition and theory, until he discovered multitrack recording and everything fell into place in the early 1980s. He began recording cassette albums, and trading them with other home musicians, and becoming involved in various compilation projects. One of which resulted in making contact with Belinda.
