Belinda Balaski is one of my all time favortie actresses. She has a girl-next-door quality that immediately makes you care for her whatever role she is playing.
Belinda is a very kind and generous soul. I was lucky to interview her over the phone nearly fifteen years ago. It was my first celebrity interview and to say I was ill-prepared does not come close to the truth. But Belinda was easy to talk to and very funny. Once we started talking, I didn't want to get off the phone with her. I will always be indebted to her for taking time from her busy schedule to talk to me.
She has starred in a number of my favorite flicks. The Howling, Piranha, Food of the Gods, Cannonball, Gremlins, Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw, Runaway Daughters. These are what I consider classic films- flicks I would still stay up late at night to watch, even though I have seen them dozens of times each.
Belinda is a very wonderful lady. It is great to see a Fan Site dedicated to her, her talents and her accomplishments. She deserves it.
