Bella Besame is a performer, promoter and teacher of burlesque. When she isn't running her fantastic Slippery Belle Burlesque night in Leeds, BURLESQUE! eventin Manchester or Belle Epoque in Huddersfield, she's teaching the art of the tease or traveling all over Europe spinning her tassels and dazzling audiences with her classic burlesque routines.
She has worked with many of the UK's greatest names including; Goodtime Mama Jo Jo's Naughty but Fabulous, The Whoopee Club, Lady Luck, Lost Vagueness and The Whim Wham club to name but a few.
Bella has also performed and co-ordinated shows for alternative events such as Club Lash, The Leeds Erotica Festival, Twisted Elegance and The Leeds Gothic Society.
Also, Bella has appeared on national tv and documentaries (BBC, Channel M, Trisha, Being Bella, The Slippery Belle), various radio stations (BBC Leeds, AllFM, Pure radio station) and numerous magazines and newspapers (YQ magazine, Manchester Evening News, Moving House, PeepToe, Leeds Guide, Manchester Confidential).

Bella my Dear, I was photographing the Wet Spot Leeds on Friday and got speaking to Des O'Connor who had some LOVELY things to say about you and your work and says we must get together. My girlfriend ands I had to bodyguard him from a drunk who didn't know just what opinion he had about anything - a trully remarkable man - anyway he said some lovely things about you and your instituation so I thought I'd relay these back to you and wondered if you have a suitable date for a shoot in the next few weeks?
