Most of my info is on Livejournal. If you really want to keep up with me, you'll do well to go to Livejournal's website, sign up for a free account, and friend "Bellaforte". Then let me know, so I can add you back.
But my basic interests are: my car, my motorcycle, my dog, my freedom.
Oh, you wanted material stuff? SCA, RenFaires, horses, books, cooking, going way too fast on my bike, driving with the top down in the sunshine, rum'n'cokes, dressage lessons, dominance and submission, dancing in the rain, hockey games we actually win, trying new hot teas, and keeping my GPA up.
Music
My musical tastes are so damned eclectic there's almost no point in listing them. But at the moment, my mix at work includes:
Poe
Sarah Mac
Live
APC
AFI
Green Day
Missy Higgins
Suzanne Vega
Ani Difranco
Stevie Nicks
Breaking Benjamin
Creed
Tool
Tracy Chapman
Dido
Korn
Secret Garden
and about a dozen other artists, so yeah.... eclectic much?
Movies
Sylvester
Kinky Boots
Serenity
Unleashed
V for Vendetta
Television
Firefly
Dexter That's pretty much it, I am introducing my godfather to Firefly and we have a weekly "Dexter Night".
Books
*snickers* You really, really don't want to get me started. I have three 6' bookshelves, and they are groaning with the number of books on them.
My fave authors at the moment include: Mercedes Lackey Laurell Hamilton
John Ringo
Rachel Caine
Anne Bishop
Emily Dickinson
Louisa May Alcott
Kim Harrison
Jacqueline Carey
Robin McKinley
Wen Spencer
James Hetley
Jean M Auel Ok, ok, I'll quit making your eyes bleed now. I have a pretty specific "type" of book I like- mostly, I prefer fantasy, but in any genre I have a strong preference for a strong, but fallible, female heroine.
Heroes
The soldier at the bridge (Ancient legend- you military types ought to know it)
Artemis
Major "Mac" Kelly, USMC (Ret) Myself- for surviving

Uber-basics of my life right now: I live in East Point, GA as of December 2008. My mother died in 2006, and I inherited a house. I am painfully domestic, but I never wanted to own a home at 24. So I spent 2 years in it, fixing it and cursing it every step of the way... and then I got rid of it.
I'm double majoring in Psychology and Sociology and double minoring in Anthropology and Gender Studies. It's all about the "why" of people: ie, why people do the stupid-ass shit they so regularly do.
I don't like most women, I'm just attracted to them.
There are a few major exceptions to that, as I've been reminded of recently.
I am polyamorous, and have a full plate of amazing partners in my life. I am beyond blessed- you know who you are. Thank you for being part of my life. I love you.
I am a very kinky girl, and quite open about it. If that's more than you can handle, I'm probably the wrong person to be talking to.
My car is a 95 Honda Civic Del Sol- 5spd of course, with removable hard top. Something way too much fun about being a 24-year old chick with a 2-seater convertible. Not to mention my 30mpg :-D
My bike is a 1986 Honda Rebel 450, Collector's Edition, because they only made that model in '86 and '87.
She and my dog, Nokomis, are the loves of my life.
I'm far too close of friends with most of my exes, but I'm finally learning to let go of the rest. Sometimes you have to cut ties, even if it severs an artery.
My boyfriend and I drink tea from teacups, and eat scones with cream and jam- usually after I've come home from taking dressage lessons bareback.
I am a chocaholic.
And I'm constantly sleepy.

"Would You Change"
Tracey Chapman
If you knew that you would die today,
Saw the face of God and love,
Would you change?
Would you change?
If you knew that love can break your heart
When you're down so low you cannot fall
Would you change?
Would you change?
How bad, how good does it need to get?
How many losses? How much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around,
Makes you try to explain,
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change?
Makes you change?
If you knew that you would be alone,
Knowing right, being wrong,
Would you change?
Would you change?
If you knew that you would find a truth
That brings up pain that can't be soothed
Would you change?
Would you change?
How bad, how good does it need to get?
How many losses? How much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around,
Makes you try to explain,
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change?
Makes you change?
Are you so upright you can't be bent?
If it comes to blows are you so sure you won't be crawling?
If not for the good, why risk falling?
Why risk falling?
If everything you think you know,
Makes your life unbearable,
Would you change?
Would you change?
If you'd broken every rule and vow,
And hard times come to bring you down,
Would you change?
Would you change?
If you knew that you would die today,
If you saw the face of God and love,
Would you change?
Would you change?
Would you change?
Would you change?
If you saw the face of God and love
If you saw the face of God and love
Would you change?
Would you change?
Who I'd like to meet: Kink-friendly, interesting, intelligent adults in the Atlanta area for roommates. Please note that my definition of adult involves a reliable income and the ability to discuss issues without degenerating to namecalling.
I am in several wonderful relationships, and I'm extremely happy. While I'm glad to meet you and hang out, as I've mentioned, I have a very full plate.

Hey girl! Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well today. I relate - a baby in montessori school or any social kid-environment means every bug and virus comes through our house...bleah! Rest up, take supplements, feel better asap!
I am so glad for your continuing adventures in education! Probably the best place to be right now, I think I have school-envy. Maybe soon! Keep rocking!
Wow! That sucks, but it least it's fixable, right??....I think there are really bad drivers anywhere you go, not just Atlanta. A similar incident happened to Sal when we were still in Cali.
