LOVE and SERVE :)
Bella AgamaOm’s diversity of artistic experience includes bringing a sensitive understanding of the great gifts of loving and serving to her worldwide audience. A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, Bella was initially raised in a culturally oriented environment, and taught at an early age the importance of charity and beneficial service, which has left an everlasting impression on her life, and all that she does.
A born artist, one of Bella’s first childhood memories is sitting on her Dad’s lap, and playing a baby grand piano -- as her fingers were placed on each key by him. Bella's love of life found expression through music, art, and dance prolifically. During her pre-school years. Bella painted on seashells. She also used both left and right hands. This is a remarkable quality of Bella's original art.
Bella found that all of her creations in music, dance and art inspire each other.
During grade school, Bella studied ballet, tap, modern dance, guitar and piano. Also she sang in talent shows and eventually in benefit concerts. After college, Bella’s love of art, music and dance continued to be a source of inspiration. This included studying ballet in Boston with Russian prima-ballerina Tatjiana Babushkina. And in the art world, learned Chinese brush painting techniques.
Exhibiting leadership and organizational skills through her formative years, Bella was elected to class office as early as in the third grade, and was a member of the student council of her high school. In college, Bella was the president of the National Honor Society in Education, Kappa Delta Pi at University of Bridgeport in Connecticut where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree cum laude in Art Education.
Over the years, Bella has volunteered her services in inner cities and private schools, and has brought her art into all possible communities. She went on to a teaching post in dance at Harvard University.
Prior to living in NYC, on Martha’s Vineyard, Bella wrote and illustrated “ The Vineyard, Yoga & The Miracle Food” with a portion of all proceeds of this sold-out first edition going to a charity for the environment. On the Vineyard, Bella produced and was hostess for "Stay Tuned" an inspiring radio show on WMVY.
As Benefit Chairperson for The World Citizen's Assembly Environmental Association to the United Nations, Bella outreached for a sustainable enviroment in addition to being selected and serving as New York City coordinator for "Earth Save!" to help save the precious spotted owls and douglas fir trees.
Bella has travelled extensively worldwide, and now resides at the Jersey Shore. She has won many scholarships and awards for her art – including the prestigious #1 Red Dot Award at the Art Students League, NYC, for her work, “Peace Focus,” in 2007. Other famous artists that have attended at the Art Student League are: Georgia O’Keefe, Winslow Homer, Norman Rockwell, Jackson Pollack and Alexander Caldwell, who are featured in their Harriman Gallery Collection.
The highlight of Bella’s life was meeting the distinguished world humanitarian from India Mata Amritanandamayi referred to as Amma, “the hugging Saint”. In 2003, Bella attended Amma’s international event, “Embracing the World in Peace and Harmony,” in India, and sang with the U.S. contingent. Amma’s beneficial service for the universe is a constant source of inspiration for Bella's art forms. Today, Bella consistently brings her God given talents of art, music, dance and the gift of Divine touch to as many as possible.
Bella has been a featured artist in the media, and her art is in numerous collections. Bella also regularly donates to many charities including the Katrina and Tsunami Foundations, Healthcare Charities and the growing arts organization for international singing actors – Pacific Encore Performances.

The Woman
Your smile is earth’s sunshine
Your laughter is my favorite song
Your voice is the greatest instrument
Your words have calmed raging storms
Your heartbeat plays a perfect rhythm
Your love will remain immeasurable
Your eyes speak an Angel’s truth
Your mind strengthens a weary soul
Your body is the most beautiful statue
Your walk carries a mesmerizing stride
Your presence is my light by day & moon by night
You are the spirit that gives life its will to survive

No matter how many times I listen to your singing it has the same effect on the heart -- it uplifts and purifies, and is lilting enough to make one almost get up and dance..there is something altogether divine in the voice not ordinarily found amongst other singers, which is why it captivates the heart and lingers on there long after it is over.. more and more of it, if you please..
Yours,
Priya
