Music - Playing Guitar - Computers - Motorcycles - Movies -SCRABBLE!. The thing with me is, if you knew me 25 years ago, you know me now. My interests have not changed much. I like guitar rock just as much as ever. I'm sure I added a *few* new things, but, I'm a pretty obvious person. I have three motorcycles - I've learned that the simple things in life are the best...I'm always trying to get back there.
Music
Hard Rock... I mean, that's what I grew up on... I like acoustic stuff... I played violin in High School. I still have one and promise to learn again :)
Movies
Anything that makes me laugh. I like clever, humorous films - Woody Allen films - James Bond - Office Space - Slackers - Anything with Jay & Silent Bob - Clerks - Made - Napolean Dynamite - Indy stuff like that.... I'm REALLY into movies. That's what sparked my desire to live in Hollywood. Movies are a form of escapism. Not that I really have anything to escape from - but they're safer than drinking your life away - since I don't drink...much :)
Television
I am a BIG defender of Television. I don't understand people who are against it. I'm not saying I watch it all the time, but, it's entertainment - a relaxation.. Beats the hell out of drinking in smoky bars!! Give me the Gastineau Girls any day! :)
Books
I'm not much of a reader. I try to, but end up reading biographies and autobiographies of actors and musicians. I'll go through spells where I'll read books *about* an event (OJ Trial), but, I'm not an avid reader. I really would rather spend my time becoming a better guitar player.
Heroes
I don't have many heroes outside of the music or film industries. Even they aren't 'heroes' - they're people I admire.
I admire anybody that's gone down their own path and made it...
I was born and raised in NYC. I lived there for many years, but tired of the crime and general dirtiness of the place. I moved to Hollywood for a year, and it totally changed my life. However, living there proved challenging, so I moved back to NYC for about 5 years. Again, it creeped me out, and I moved out for good to the hills of Western Maryland.
I am a recording artist. I waited a LONG time to be able to write that. I toiled in cover bands for what seemed like forever. Around when I turned 40, I decided that nobody was going to remember a guy who played "Magic Carpet Ride", so, I moved on to original acts. I'm not saying I don't play covers, but, I've put out Four CD's of original material since that day...
I'm also an actor, and have been in a few really cool films! One of the things I'm proudest of is that I have an actual "Internet Movie Database" entry! View it
here!
I currently play guitar for The Freddie Long Band.
Our Debut CD was released in March of 2007, and it's called 'Strangers and Friends'. Our second CD is called "Riding Shotgun With The Devil"...
Another thing I'm proud of is my involvement with Project-43. It's a FULL Internet band - nobody's ever met - One guy lives in Finland, one in Scotland, one in Sweden, and 2 of us are in the US. It's the 'Future of Classic Rock'! We have two CD's out. The first CD was 'Silence The Quiet' - Our second CD is
Ticket to Infinity..
I have started played with Edmund Allen Brown in the 'Dragons of Eden' - Very high-energy guitar rock! We will be playing out soon!
One thing you have to know about me is that I'm cool as hell!!!! :) Live to f*cking win!
I have THREE motorcycles - an '83 Kawasaki GPz (1100), a 2001 Suzuki TL1000R, and a '83 Honda 750 Interceptor. I LOVE to ride!
Here are my two new bikes!!!!
And my AWESOME Pinball Machine!!!
If you want a great looking tattoo or piercing, go see my friend Mike up at Premier Body Accents in Harrisburg... He will be your LAST stop for anything cool! :)
This is MY guitar in this video - I'm in there too :)
Who I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet many of the people I lost touch with throughout the years. My friends in Queens, NY. (L'Amour East), Newtown High School, Horace Greeley JHS 10 in Astoria, NY. My pals in North Hollywood, California. I've met so many great people, but have moved around a lot chasing my dream...
It was really nice to see you! Can't believe it had been that long. If I don't go to M3 concert at Merriweather on sat then I will catch you at the beer festival!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,HAPPY BIRTHDAY,HAPPY BIRTHDAY,HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.... AND MANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll call you later today ! hugs bites and spells, Nina
Just got a call from God, He said he lost an angel.. Shhh, I didn't tell him where you were, because I wanted to keep you forever :) Send this to all of your True Friends including me if I am one. I sent an angel to watch over you last night, but it came back. I asked, "Why?"... The angel said: "Angels don't watch over angels!" If one day you feel like crying, call me. I don't promise that I will make you laugh, but I can cry with you. If one day you want to run away, don't be afraid to call me. I don't promise to ask you to stop, but I can run with you. If one day you don't want to listen to anyone, call me. I promise to be there for you but also promise to remain quiet. But one day if you call and there is no answer, come fast to see me. Perhaps I need you. Send this to all your friends, no matter how often you talk or how close you are and send it to the person who sent it to you. Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them, and tell new friends you never will. Remember, everyone needs a friend. Twenty angels are IN Your World. Ten of them are sleeping. Nine are playing. One is reading this comment. . . Send this to ten friends, including me.
