2009 was a year of reinvention and ambition. Coming to appreciate similar artists, while maintaining individual musings, we were overcome by the desire to create something unforgettable. So we wrote a collection of new music. People needed to hear it, but rather than spending weeks working meticulously in a studio setting we opted for the risky alternative: a live album. The debut "Live At The Bijou" was recorded on September 26th at the most remarkable sounding room in the southeast, the Bijou Theatre. Veteran producer Jeff Powell mixed and produced this record for us at Ardent Studios in Memphis. If performing on a legendary stage wasn't thrilling enough, walking into Ardent's Studio A in early October was stepping onto musicians' hallowed ground. Music idols such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, and the Allman Brothers Band have all made history in that very room. We had a f@%&ing blast. The record, due out in early 2010, captures a thunderous raw performance in an intimate setting. We hope that you will enjoy listening to this record as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
