Philosophy
Bellinter House Recording Studios is a project based Studio situated on the banks of the River Boyne in the rolling landscape of County Meath. It is 30 min from Dublin airport and 45 min from Dublin city centre. Ideal for singer songwriters, all are welcome!
Bellinter House Recording Studios is open and bright with lots of natural sunlight and wood. Many studios block up windows to improve sound isolation and keep unwanted sounds out. But lets face it we all feel more comfortable in spaces bathed in bright natural light as opposed to artificial light. That’s not to say sound isolation is unimportant (our main recording room has a 24 tiered vaulted Tuscan ceiling with a carpeted floor and brilliant acoustics). We feel having a nice environment to work in is one of the most important elements in recording. Perfect sound and Perfect surroundings.
The Studio
The Studio is based around A stand alone Yamaha digital platform with Dyna Audio monitors. It physically comprises of one very large room which serves as a vocal room and a live/control room. There is also a large very comfortable bathroom and vocal isolation booth if needed. The hotel has full facilities as listed on the website including indoor infinity pool and an outdoor pool looking over the banks of the Boyne where Fionn Mc Cumhail met the Salmon of Knowledge. There are Spa treatments, Sauna, bar, restaurant and Beautiful bedrooms. Studio discount available on Bedrooms.

The Session
Preparation: Getting the best out of your recording session takes preparation. Fail to prepare? Then prepare to fail! Practice is the key to making your studio time a pleasure as opposed to a nightmare even if it is just a simple voice over. However booking studio time to experiment with some ideas can also lead to some pretty amazing creativity sessions! The important thing is to know what you want to achieve and approach your project in that way.
