Hi David
have you seen the recent wonderful posts about cats and dogs on the 'Spits and giggles' thread started a while back by Bush Girl on the forum? I immediately thought of you.. you must see them. I've never laughed so much! Check out the posts by Stoo and especially Keiran Moses.

Still laughing,
Maria :))))

Just stopping by to listen to some great songs!

"Jo's Back Yard" sounds like a venue of some sort! :-D

Jan 4 2009 11:58 AM

Hahaha yeah, sure will, and were you proud you finished that? ^^
I'm lucky! One of my friends knows a guy who has a little recodring studio 20 miles off, maybe I MIGHT be able to record a few of my things... and if i do, by the way, would you allow me to make a version of 'Thank You'? That song just clicked, you know. I love it so much I figured the chords out first time I heard it.

Hi David,
I'd just thought I'd come by and wish you a happy New Year '09 - I can hardly believe its '09 already- and that you'll have plenty of luck with your music, life, the car, no heartburn problems, you know? What else can I add...? Apart from that, have a great year. And I mean it. :)
Peace,
Maurine

heh lol you could have shoved him right off!
Once I tried saving a half-eaten mouse, and the only bow I could find was a watch box with a spring (?) and when it tried to escape, I (accidentaly) snapped the box shut on its throat. I freaked, it freaked, we all freaked. I ran outside and opened the box and a folded in two fat mouse dropped out (with HUGE stickin' out eyes, by the way ^^). I tried to blow air into it by means of a straw but it didn't work; half the neck swelled. Eventually it ended up being tossed into the neighbor's flowers.

Uh oh, the hair grew back!
I don't know about you but right now, I wish I could give you a good old reply but I'm really pooped, I can't think of anything. Oh sure, wait a sec... did the cat fall off the ball after the picture was taken? *lack of inspiration*

Hey amigo, I've been listening to your musics. I especially like "Life.
" The vocals and mood of the song remind me of Ray Davies, except of course you are better!

Well I'll be darned... that music just blew me away. In fact, I don't even know what to write!! I just sat here, listening to 'Thank you' and 'Life'. It reminds me of Crosby/Stills/Nash/ Young songs I listen to oftentimes, with my mind just drifting off while I listen; as it always does. It just left me speechless. You know, I think there's an artist you'll very much appreciate on this site, called Hilton Valentine (he's in my friend's list). Go check his profile; he's a wonderful folk/skiffle guitarist... and a very kind person as well. No kidding. So, here you go, some more music you can enjoy. I know I always do.
Peace!
Maurine
