First off, we are NOT a band!
We are BELLYACHE RECORDS, a division of THE BELLYACHE CANDY SHOPPE! We release CD's & 7" Singles from Michigan Based bands. In May of 2006, we released our first compilation CD, "The Sweet Sounds Of Detroit Volume 1" which had proven to be a great success for us. Soon after in September, we released a CD Single from the GRANDE NATIONALS for the track "Kill The Lights" with the Non-LP Track "Us Against Them" on the b-side. We topped off the year with the debut full length from the Grande Nationals entitled "Brass Knuckle Heartbreak", a totally Rock 'N' Roll album for fans of bands like AC/DC, THE RAMONES, THE MC-5, ALICE COOPER & THE HELLACOPTERS!
In October of 2007 we took on the massive undertaking of releasing a 2 CD Halloween compilation, "GHOUL'S DELIGHT! A MONSTER PARTY RECORD!" which featured 33 newly penned halloween tunes by some of Detroits finest like THE HENTCHMEN, FORTUNE & MALTESE, THE DEWTONS, SERENITY COURT, EONS, THE KOFFIN KATS, THE BEGGARS and MANY MORE!
Now it's 2008 and we just released a Very Limited Edition European Tour 7 Inch Single from the GORE GORE GIRLS. What else is in store for this year? NATHANIEL MAYER TRIBUTE AND BENEFIT A benefit to help with funeral expenses has been organized by many of Nay Dog's friends, relatives, fans and fellow musicians. Black Merda, Cody Black, Cash McCall, Gino Washington, Ultimate Ovation, Spyder Turner, Scott Morgan, The Fondas, Kenny Martin and many others.
