Bélo.
Born on October 29th 1979 in Croix des Bouquets in the outskirts of Port-au-Prince, The capital of Haiti. Bélo, a young musician and songwriter is influenced by different musical genres from Reggae, Voodoo, Rara and soul that flirts with a flavor of Jazz.
Ever since his youth, Bélo has been in Love with music and rapidly developed his talents. Bélo started his career at the age of 11 while in school, interpreting songs from his idols, Buju Banton, Bob Marley, just to name a few. Growing up, Bélo always knew that music would be the center part of his life.
In order to produce his first album Lakou Trankil, Bélo collaborated with Fabrice Rouzier and Kéké Bélizaire, the great minds behind the well known Haiti Twoubadou Project.
Lakou Trankil is an album with a blend of the different influences and sounds that Bélo grew-up with and we hope that you will enjoy it.

Né le 29 octobre 1979 à la Croix-des-Bouquets, Bélo est un jeune auteur -compositeur-interprète qui ne laisse personne indifférent par sa musique alliant un amalgame de reggae, de vodou, de rara, de soul qui flirte avec le jazz. Dès son enfance, Bélo a démontré un talent incontestable pour la musique. Il a fait ses débuts à lâge de onze ans sur les planches de lécole classique, interprétant des chansons de ses idoles de lépoque (Buju Banton entre autres) tout en laissant grandir en lui lidée de mener une jour une belle carrière dans la musique. Pour réaliser son premier album, LAKOU TRANKIL, Bélo sest fait épauler par Fabrice Rouzier et Kéké Bélizaire. Fabrice et Kéké sont, entre autres, les producteurs du projet Haitian Troubadours ( Haiti Twoubadou) regroupant certains des meilleurs musiciens haïtiens et antillais. Ils font partie du groupe Mizik-Mizik.
