"It has been a real pleasure to hear Bryan's growth as a musician over the last nine years. At this point he is an important part of my musical life; a player with intellect, intensity, and individuality, and a joy to work with. Bryan is definitely a player to keep your ear on." -James Harvey
"...compositions are excellent as is the performance." - Sean Smith
"...McNamara channeling the potential of human expression through his horn. And he's got a lot to say..." -Mike McKinley, State of Mind Music Magazine
Bryan McNamara is a saxophonist, composer, bandleader, educator, and producer. The majority of musical growth and development of his individual voice as an improviser occurred in both formal institutional environments and 'on the stand' situations alike, and continues to take shape today.

He recently received his Masters in Music at McGill University in Montreal.
As an educator, he has played the role as an affiliate artist, part-time faculty and individual instructor at the university level, and has taught privately for over 12 years. He is currently teaching at Johnson State College.
