James Chappell - Keyboard. His first party attracted 200 people, the police and notoriety in the local press. Voted the best voice for BBC Radio 4's Shipping Forecast
Angelo Kyriakides - Guitar. Writes the songs. Polemicist, scientist and band phallus, specialising in tantric spleen venting.
Rob Eijkman - Vocals. Sang in a boy band barbershop choir and headbanged to Billy Joel. Philosophy "Take care of the trivial things and the important ones will take care of themselves".
Odette Dillon - Bass. Has a mouth like a sailor and the tattoos to go with it. Comes to us from an NYC all-girl rock band and now can be seen walking her dog on the streets of North London.
Catherine Pate - Drums. Played along to ‘Revolver’ on cushions in her parents’ living room aged 11, using knitting needles for drumsticks. Subsequently progressed to a real kit, much to the chagrin of every neighbour she’s had since.

Amsterdam Reviews
"BELTER came all the way from London to play a few shows. Their mix of punk, wave, and rock really hit home. It wasn't really acoustic, save for Replacement Steve (drumming with bare hands on a snaredrum they found somewhere in the venue) but they got the job done. A very energetic performance indeed by this multinational London bunch. We're especially fond of 'Belt', which features some of the funkiest bass we've heard in a while." Nieuwe Anita
"Just for the heck of playing a few songs with your mates, you start a band, and before you know, you're playing the Paradiso and the Nieuwe Anita in Amsterdam. Belter from London doesn't do the type of punk that's about screaming guitars and lack of skills, but energetic punk that might as well be called pop, or new wave, or whatever you feel like.. with clever lyrics, just as you'd expect from an English band. Although, isn't that singer a Dutchie?" Pfaff
