I like all kindsa musik from rock to those chanting monks to indian sitar musik. Music is expression...its emotion in the form of sound waves. I like music that massages the brain and soothes the soul, exposes injustice, let's you know that everything is alright, music that gets your head bobbin, and your blood flowin. I like music you can dance to when I'm out partying and having a good time. I like music that bridges the gap between two people, brings people together. I like music that can take you on a journey, to another reality, without leaving your seat. As I've matured past the angst of teen years, my tastes have changed dramatically. I prefer music that mellows. My playlist should be evident of that. Radiohead, Led Zepellin, Pink Floyd, Death Cab for Cutie, and just generally peaceful, relaxing music is what I enjoy.

Some of my favorite bands over the years include

Led Zepellin is my all-time favorite band,

Rage Against the Machine because of their constant struggling to overcome social injustice,

Sublime when I preferred a more hedonic lifestyle,

Tool/A Perfect Circle/Anything Maynard James Keenan has done,

Nirvana for those angst-filled teen years,

NIN for when life didn't live up to my expectations,

    311 for happy times,

Pantera when I was righteously indignant, System of a Down for manic times, Metallica, Deftones,

Dave Mathews Band when I feel lovestruck,

Jack Johnson because he reminds of surfing in Malibu, Stone Temple Pilots, Idiot Pilot, Crystal Method for those crazy years when I had sleepless nights, Sound Garden,

Weezer because I can identify with Rivers Cuomo in his geekiness and unwillingness to conform, not such a fan of the new stuff though, Live,

Pink Floyd for psychadelic times or mind-trippin, The Doors for the same reason; The Lizard King will be forever missed, The Rolling Stones, Sneaker Pimps, Vibrant Society, The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, Bad Company, Black Flag, Karnivool, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Beck, Queens of the Stoneage, The Beatles, The Evil Disco Sound of Static-X, King Missile, Slipknot, Pennywise, Marilyn Manson, Rancid, James Taylor, Journey, Foreigner, Styx, Kansas, White Snake (I got love for 80's hair bands), Brotha Lynch, X-Raided, Mr. Doc., and Tek-9 when I felt locc'd out.

Way toooo many good artists to come close to naming them.

About me:

Welcome to my reality, beyond time and space, name and form. This is my sanctuary: a serene place, for me and my guests.

"Once expanded to the dimensions of a larger idea, the mind never returns to it's original size." -Oliver Wendell Holmes

I bet this guy never watched reality tv-- that stuff'll shrink your brain a few notches.

I like to think of myself as "different, in a preferential way."

I am a comedian. It's a cruel passion. I force people to laugh for my own amusement. It's an art-form, really. Ever since I was young, I have loved to make people laugh. Being a stand-up comedian, I am a conductor of a symphony of ha-ha's....and occasional snorts. The snorts are like a bonus. If you come to my show and you accidentally snort at one of my jokes, I will give you the biggest hug.

That so many people share my views is so fulfilling and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside....either that or I swallowed a rat in my sleep. Given the state of this house, it wouldn't surprise me. College housing is just a scootch better than a mexican prison. And with all the lead paint on the walls, nuclear blasts don't scare me. Once I saw a chud in the basement.

I like testing the limits of my body. I have this instrument that can make all kindsa cool noises and shoot out 10 kinds of fluids in all different colors and directions and can communicate a feeling with a gesture. I can move in so many different ways and do so much with this soul-mobile.

When I was very young, I used to play it safe at all times and liked sittin' on my biscuit, never havin' to risk it. I guess I took after my dad in that respect. But as I got older, I realized taking chances and risking things in life is where the most fun comes from. We're all going to die some day. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you can start living.

If you really wanna get a feel for who I am (if you're reading this, I suppose you do), read my blogs.

Now, a little bit about my reality.

Time does not exist, not past, not future. Only the present. Time exists only in the mind.

There is no such thing as success, only happiness. Whatever makes you happy is the most important thing...however, pleasure and happiness are not always one in the same.

Life is good.

Champions are forged in trial by fire, the losers perish.

Music is mind candy. Laughter is bliss.

I have faith in humanity, that we'll continue to exist as a species, at least for a while. And then the chuds will take over.

I think freely and give any reasonable idea a chance.

There's a saying in a discipline of psychology called NLP: "The map is not the territory". This says basically that each of our own individual maps of reality (derived from our senses) is not actually "reality" itself. There is no absolute reality, only perception.

Every person is like a flavor of ice cream....I'm peanut butter chocolate....what flavor are you?

I try to experience something new every day. I have a lot of goals and dreams for the future.

This is a hilarious youtube video.

"A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves." -Edward R. Murrow

"If you are flamable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire escape." -Mitch Hedburg

"If government were a product, selling it would be illegal." -P.J. O'Rourke

"If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all who claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think everything you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told you should want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned ....... Tyler." - taken from split second 'pop-up' warning, that appears at the beginning of fight club DVD movie

"Dad always thought laughter is the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis." -Jack Handey

"Time is a great teacher...but unfortunately, it kills all its pupils." -Louis Hector Berlioz

"Son, if you really want something in this life, you have to work for it. Now quiet! They're about to announce the lottery numbers." -Homer Simpson

'Today a young man on acid discovered that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves.'-Tool

This is pretty goddamn cool:

Who I'd like to meet:

The Dali Lama, Eckhart Tolle, Zack De La Rocha, Bradley Nowell, Kurt Cobain, Maynard James Keenan, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, George Carlin, Heather Graham, Siddartha (aka Old School Buddha), Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Renee Descartes, Friedrich Nietzche is peachy (kind of a downer though. "God is dead"? Too bad prozac hadn't been invented),
Mitch Hedberg

Today, I was having birthday dinner with my girlfriend and her parents, when her Dad asked what I got her she replied "He said he was going to give me a Pearl Necklace when we get home." I realized then that my girlfriend did not know what I meant by 'Pearl Necklace.

Me pwning said face worse than I pwned her sister right in the mouth ROFL:

How could you take anyone seriously that said I pointed a gun in the face of a solicitor? That never happened, just like the rest of the democratic party taking an issue (that is in all reality 100% false) that is entirely unrelated to the issues and emphasizing it because you don't really have any good points. And FYI 95% of the small business owners in America make over 250,000 dollars a year and he's going to tax them extraordinarily, it is redistribution of the wealth, people are getting even more reliant on the government and you think this is a good thing? You're a working woman Christina you know better than this. And redistribution of the wealth: Hmm lets Websters that umm, or better yet Thesaurus COMMUNISM! You buy into these stupid slogans of this junior senator and I'm sorry but I believe it is Naivity. Remember the great depression? You know how that started? It started exactly the same way this ones going to if it it does, taxes were raised exorbitantly after a wall street slump and like clock work bam depression. Check your facts before you come at me like that. I know my shit and unfortunately America doesn't for the most part which is why I'm terrified about this election. Oh and this "Affordable Healthcare" you know who pays for that the people who are actually working and your employer and last time I checked you work for a small business owner. When small business owners lose profits they lose people and the wages go down. People don't seem to realize that everyone of these "remarkable" ideas Mr. Obama puts forth are truly the driving force behind the destruction of the economy and the principles on which this country was founded on. Your move maam.

The reason for me pwning the face:

Yeah, Barack is black but that isnt the reason he has my vote. he addresses the problems that middle america faces instead of focusing on the crooked CEOs and wallstreet pricks. i also believe that everyone should b entitled to affordable healthcare. I feel that from the speeches that he has delivered and his intelligent responses in the debates thus far AND his experience in working to raise our country up that he would be just what America needs during this depression. Fuck you for calling me naive you closed minded fool. How could i take anything that u have 2 say seriously when you point guns in the faces of solicitors. sad.
