My names Ben, I’m a water sports instructor from North West England, and have just returned from my summer season working for www.freak-surf.com. It was an awesome season, thanks to everyone who came on holiday or took lessons for making the season what it was! I’ve just set up my own business, www.ocean-motion.net, check it out! My passion for windsurfing developed whilst at school, taking weekend trips up to Ullswater to play on some of the oldest kit I can remember! I moved to Plas Menai to study for 6 months and really got bitten by the windsurfing, and in particular freestyle bug! Now the flatter the water, the better, I love nothing more than sliding, sideways, backwards, anyway is good! I try to have a long drawn out style in my moves, and have been told I have a style that makes moves look easy! I always believe that if something takes allot of strength there must be an easier way of doing it! Ive spent many years abroad in quiet locations training as much as possible and now believe it’s time to stop hiding and come and compare myself against the UKs best! In 2008 I have lots of plans to promote myself in the UK and expand my business in many ways. My aim is to compete on the UK freewave tour and hopefully travel to some of the Euro events, money permitting! And hopefully not get my ass kicked! Out of windsurfing I enjoy photography, and making videos, along with mountain biking, skiing, and anything else outdoors! I love being outside and sharing my passion for my sports with others! I can usually either be found up the mountains or down on the beach!
