Now to the music...
I am lucky enough to play in a wonderful trio called TRIGGER, which is made up of guitar (Brad Brittain), djembai and percussion (Andy Smith) and harmonica (me). We also feature 2 and 3 part harmonies. TRIGGER plays a mixture of originals and blues and roots standards.
Brad writes all of our original songs wih the exception of "I Dont Want to Know". This song was written by a very good mate of ours, Precision Dick. Precision also played bass on several of the songs on our latest CD, "Missing For A Few Days - Chris". This title arose from an incident I don't wish to go into online.
One of our most frequent gigs is at the Fremantle Markets Bar, where we have been playing on a regular basis for nearly 3 years. We love the ambience and honesty of the venue.
TRIGGER had a great year during 2009, playing many rewarding gigs, culminating in 4 performances over the weekend o f the Bridgetown Blues Festival. We are looking forward to more of the same in 2010, with enjoying the music being our main objective.
At a personal level my ambitions for 2010 are to consume less of everything, listen to heaps of live music, improve my Spanish, make a difference, meet new people, enjoy the company of my children, friends and truly awesome cat, play many gigs and play with lots more people.
One of the ambitons of my mates in TRIGGER is to help me talk less. :-)
By the way, if you wish to contact us about a gig, have a question, or just wish to chat, please mail us at benares56@hotmail.com.
Peace and respect to all of you, and thank you for visiting our profile.
Also please take the time to think about our world.

Hi Chris I have a Fender Pro Junior 15 watt but I changed the valves to Tung Sol and changed the speaker to a Jensen . The Vox AC15 should be great ! You could get a nice tube distortion from it . Have you tried running your Harp through an overdrive and or delay pedal ? Things are improving for me . Always good to hear from you ! WJ
Heya Chris, hope you're enjoying your new amp. I'm just back home from the electric picnic, which is a fantastic festival in ireland - spend more time singing sea shanties on an actual boat stranded in the middle of this forrest than playing harps - Good Times! I'm about to fall head first onto my keyboard, so - Good Night!
Hey Chris I hope things are good ! Thanks for listening Those instruments are very sentimental to me . My Grandmother's slide guitar was my first electric . I was wondering what kind of amp do you play your Harmonica through ? Cheers , WJ
