Ben has been playing music professionally since 1999. He has two previous releases: independently-"Ben Atkins Band" Small Town Things in 2000 and on Hightone Records "Ben Atkins" Mabelle in 2003. Ben has toured in the U.S. as well as Europe. His music is constantly taking different avenues. Look for a new record out soon. Ben also plays guitar and dobro with other acts, he is currently the guitarist for traditional country bands Casey Pilgreen, and Luke Robinson. He is also a singer, dobro, and flatpicker in a string band called "The Blueticks" You can catch Ben playing guitar and lap steel/dobro with other acts in the North Texas area. He is working on a double disc album of about 25 original tunes at the moment.

I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with jell bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from LTRACE.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls.
