Add to My Profile | More Videos THIS WEEK I AM PERFORMING @ THE BARONS COURT THEATRE IN w14 London, "Terrors". 22nd-27th of January, 7.30pm Looking forward to seing you all there! 1.8.07 I have just finished filming the first feature film for ages! I was so exited!! It was the best crew and cast ever - and the best script I had ever worked on! Exclamation marks!! Also, "The Red Box", a short film we finished in spring was selected for the Sitges Film Festival in Barcelona in October, it will be running in the official Competition called 'Fantàstic'. "The Jewel and the Thief", my one-man-show written and directed by Rob Ballard had its premier at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, courtesy of the beloved Cecilia Darker, www.rosemarybranch.co.uk, and though we only booked in for three nights we ended up with a profit of exactly 42 pennies -hurraaay!- and some lovely quotes by Jeremy Kingston, critic of 'The Times': "At the Rosie I saw Anthony Peters's short and most interesting play The Jewel and the Thief, well directed by Rob Ballard. Playing the Duke of Saxe-Meiningen as well as his theatre 'director' Ludwig Chronegk, plus Ludwig Barnay, not to leave out Ellen Franz, was the truly charismatic German actor Ben Bela Boehm. He stirred in me the admiration and expectations that Rufus Sewell stirred when I saw him in 'Le Grand Meaulnes' fifteen or more years ago. He smiles a lot and it is a winning smile. I was moved to the point of tears when he shows the famous actor discovering that this new naturalistic delivery of Mark Antony's famous speech made him feel for the first time that he WAS the character.
