As a performer, emcee, party hostess, event promoter, and prop and costume sorceress, Ben DeLaCreme has been engaged in foolish activities in very tall shoes in theaters and nightclubs from coast to coast since 2002, but presently kicks up his/her lucite heels in Seattle, WA. Formerly based in Chicago, IL, many will remember Ben DeLaCreme as the infamous drag character Teena Angst. Although A few privileged onlookers will recall seeing Teena suffer a grizzly on-stage assassination in early 2007, devotees will be relieved to know that while the name has perished, Teena's spirit lives on as Ben DeLaCreme continues to combine his/her background in the performing and visual arts with a love of spectacle, glamour, and Saturday morning cartoons. Ben DeLaCreme can be found Emceeing and Performing in various venues throughout Seattle, as well as teaching with the Acadamy of Burlesque.
