I am a regular on the london breaks electro and house scene and have played goodtime party music at clubs like EGG, 333, SE1CLub, Club414, Trafik, Rhythm Factory, TheWhitehouse. Turnmills (t3 and VIP) , Hidden (summit dirty), Sin, Club Collesium, EP lounge, The White Lion, Whoopwhoop, FuddelDuddel, Sizzle and Teethout and festivals like PEG in the Sun, FD and FRICKLEY HOLLOW and some pretty fat bass booming soundsystems.

Justin Cookee is a London based Dj and promoter of the rocking bendeleg parties which have been tearing up venues like EGG across the UK since 2004. An accomplished Breaks and House DJ that encompasses many styles and genres, Cookee is always sure to take a dancefloor up to new heights with a fusion of beats, vocals, accapelas and deep throbbing bassline breaks. Having played alongside the likes of breaks pioneers The Freestylers, Dreadzone, Precision Cuts, Paul Arnold, Vigi and Makesome Breaksome, Justin has also performed alongside House supremos MR C, Bushwacka!, Misjah, Dave Mothersole, Nils Hess, Grant Dell, Pure Science, Richard Grey, and King Roc. Running a monthly housebreaks nights in Southwark has groomed Justin Cookee into a fine all round DJ performer and with his influences taken from the freshest breaks producers such as Adam Freeland, Stanton warriors, Meat Katie, MatthewBushwacka and the Plump DJs then you are sure to understand exactly what vibe this man takes to the DJ booth in his attempt to smash up any dancefloor put in front of him.

Justin Cookee has DJd and performed on numerous worldwide radio shows such as PHATBEATS.NET , Pulseradio.net and the late WorldwideFM as well as Londons premier pirate radio - Interface.org and he also made a special guest appearance on a primetime FM radio station in Marseille, France called GrenouilleFM, he explains, Within 1 hour I was straight off a plane, down a motorway to the heart of the city and then red light LIVE to almost 500,000 French clubbers on a Friday night at 5pm,, it felt great and was definitely my biggest surprise gig to date 2005 saw headlining performances as far a field as Marseille in France and Bourgas in Bulgaria as well as main slots for RUDE Not2 , Party Proactive. Cookees first love of dance music came at a very early age when he used to frequent Jungle and Breakbeat nights in Swindon, Reading and London, His love for dancing was born there and elements of this early love can now be heard in his DJ sets, especially with the rumbling basslines The energy of those early AWOL nights got me hooked completely, I then knew where I was going and, with the type of sound that I wanted to achieve, that would make not only myself but others dance like demons all night long After starting out playing and co-promoting an underground party called FuddelDuddel in 2001, to the inception and founding of his current Bendeleg guise in 2004 (www.bendeleg.com) he has played and promoted his way around London and has always had a great response from crowds and promoters alike. The Bendeleg parties have been a huge success and the faithful following have been attending from far and wide as they are always guaranteed a night of quality music, visuals and a vibe like no other. Justin Cookee has also promoted bendeleg rooms at such clubs like the EGG, SE1Club, Club414, 333, trafik, Southwark Rooms and many many more, This is a fresh new and exciting year for me and I just hope to play the fattest tunes, make people smile and of course get them to bendeleg all over the dancefloor What more can we say to that?...
