What Reviwers are saying:

"Eads is an author with a wickedly twisted mind. He will be one that makes something good out of himself in the near future." - Crystal Adkins

What authors are saying:

Ben Eads stories fascinate me. He must delve into the darkest crevices of his mind to produce his off beat, edgy and fantastical story ideas. 'Patience', 'John Doe's Book' and 'Would you like fries with that?' proves to me he has a truly delightful twisted mind. With characters that are believable, he is able to weave terror into everyday situations, leaving you feeling tentative and unnerved. -Charlotte Emma Gledson - Author of The Lonely Tree and Other Twisted Tales of Torment

"After reading one story by Ben Eads, I thought him mischievous. After reading more, I realized I was wrong about Mr. Eads. He is malicious and uses his talent as a weapon to shred the commonly accepted security and normalcy of middle class suburbia." -R. Scott Howes Fiction Writer & Blacksmith

"Ben Eads' short story, John Doe's Book, begins with the classic elements of Poe and ends on a grotestque and psychocolgical surrealism of a modern, breakthrough author. You may tremble as you read this story!" - Andrew Wolter, Author of Nightfall

"Just read Patience in The Ashen Eye. It was sick and disturbing - I loved it." - Danielle Ferries

What readers are saying:

"I love my copy of the Ashen Eye! Your story was extremely disturbing and I loved every moment." - Fender

Who I'd like to meet:

Fans of dark fiction, aspiring dark fiction writers, and published dark fiction writers. ..

  • Oct 28 2009 6:40 PM

Glad to hear you are doing better. I can imagine it would not have been an enjoyable time what so ever.

As for a Halloween baby, I think that Dan would be extremely happy about that. Though now I have everyone telling me when I can and can't have the baby. Apparently tonight and tomorrow are out as Dan has work tomorrow, and the weekend is out as my parents are moving furniture. I'll have to get everyone together and find out when it will be a good time to have the baby... lol! I am sure Dan will be screaming in agony in the next few weeks loud enough for you to hear from the US (as I break his hand during labour hahaha!)

    Have a great week, Ben.
