| About Beneath The Ashes |
We originally formed from Hamilton/Burlington and within a few months found our drummer (Brian Chiarcos), a resident of Guelph who is a very key role and with great importance, a strong part of the back-bone that keeps this band strong. Instantly, we all knew that writing music together was just going to be one of our expressions that tell our passions for the sounds and power of the music we call metal, and soon it would bond us together to form one of the best and most creative and innovative metal bands in the area. Within a short time we landed our first show as a new band and absolutely blew away the minds and ears of our new on-lookers. House parties and keggers, bars and clubs, cities all over, we played and they all listened. Vocalist Bryan Sherwood sends a screaming shockwave through every wall shearing up from under the feet we all stand on, leaving everyone wide-eyed and in absolute shock. Bassist Dylan Hayes sets an onslaught of rampage to anyone and anything that gets in his way with every hit and every pulsing string that pounds the ground an octave lower. Drummer Brian Chiarcos blasts the blinding sounds of machine guns with his feet while astonishingly confusing and amazing the world of percussion. Guitarist Brandon Bothwell releases a caged monster with razor sharp tone and blistering speed, delivering a southern and, at times, a very un-godly feeling of a new wave of metal. We have been influenced by some of the greatest minds of the music industry to create a new and different sound that still, and always will, remember our metal roots. With every song we write and every show we play it helps hold up that torch we all call, the powerful sound of METAL!!!!
