The band started in 2003, when Rick Etter met good friends Sean Piland and Zack Vabolis. Later Wayne Courtright, who played in another local metal band, asked to join on bass guitar. All they needed now was a frontman with vocals that would scare satan himself. They found Alex Frantz who was screaming for Nimical. He later quit, and joined up with Beneath the Ruins. This lineup is the most solid lineup in years, and the band is ready to take the metal world by storm. They will be back in the Studio to record new material, that is heavier faster, and more evil then ever before. Everyone needs to make sure they come check out the band. If the songs dont get your blood pumping, thier intense live show most certainly will. If you like Darkest Hour, InFlames, Soilwork, or pretty much anything fast, dark and crazy, you will love BENEATH THE RUINS.
